Why the fuck was Future Gohan so weak that he constantly goy his ass kicjed by the much weaker future androids if he had supposedly been training for years and years?
Meanwhile, Teen Gohan could beat Cell after only one year of training, meaning he was way way stronger than his alternate adult self. Even when he'd slacked off on his training later, Gohan was still pretty damn strong.
It doesn't make any sense, keep in mind, Future Gohan didn't lose his arm until Trunks was already a teenager.
Why the fuck was Future Gohan so weak that he constantly goy his ass kicjed by the much weaker future androids if he...
gohan was always shit, only killed cell because lol plot.
Teen Gohan had his father to train and push him further but yeah it still doesn't make much sense for future gohan to be so much weaker
Because tagteam. When Gohan was fighting then 1v1 he was stronger.
Vegeta didn't need anyone to train him, and Gohan had plenty of drive to push further all on his own, what with the Androids and all that. Hell, Gohan had so much drive that he was the one who pushed Trunks to train after all.
Saiyans get stronger by constantly fighting opponents of about the same power as them, pushing their limit and unlocking more power. That's why they always went with 2 people in the hyperbolic chamber. Gohan in that timeline had no one to spar with and would spend most of his time hiding like a rat so he could never improve. It's like a competitive video game, you can only become better by going against the best, not by yourself vs AI.
maybe he's from a different time line,i saw steins gate so i know what am talking about.
The cell saga had unironically such a great premise, buu saga was weaker but it was still good
Super though? "Bro so theres like multiverses and gods n shieeet"
To me, it seemed as though Future Gohan fell to the same limiting factors that the regular Saiyans faced.
Constant stress and harsh conditions may have limited his potential. If he was overworked from helping people and fighting the androids, he may have become limited.
Even Goku stated that there is a point when training becomes torture to the body.
Was it ever explained why the Future Androids were weaker than those in the present timeline?
>i saw steins gate so i know what am talking about.
i chuckled
They weren't. Trunks just thought they were weaker because they liked toying with him.
Toriyamas was just making shit up every chapter after the freezer saga
Toriyama has been making shit up as he goes along since the Pilaf saga.
Gohan asked how good would a year's worth be. Goku replied that his future counterpart lacks the same training methods as his present self does. So HTC and Goku as a teacher makes a lot of difference.
proof?
i see your point but it was 13 years later and Gohan supposed to have hidden potential. he should have been stronger.
Trunks' backstory chapter in the manga was written right before the Cell Games (so a long time after the power discrepancy issue was mentioned) and there right before killing him 17 reveals that in their previous battles they hadn't been using even half of their power.
Trunks says that he was just as strong as Gohan was and could keep up with the androids, so the implication of the manga's version of Trunks' backstory is that the future Androids were just holding back all along, and the one time they fought for real they killed Gohan.
fpbp
>future Gohan never trained in the hyperbolic chamber
>future Gohan never trained with Goku and Piccolo in the 3 years between Freezer death and cyborgs appearance
>future Gohan never had Goku to teach and lead him
>future Gohan very probably became Super Saiyan much, much later than kid Gohan
>future Gohan didn't even know Super Saiyan limit could be surpassed and never got to 2° level
also, constantly under attack doesn't leave a lot of room for all out training / recovery + no more sensu?
Gohan is a pacifist by nature, he doesn't enjoy training or fighting. Thus it's fair to assume that future-Gohan only did the bare minimum and rather focused on rescuing civilians.
Anytime he was training he had someone to push him(Piccolo and then Goku)
Because SS Gohan jobbing is meant to show the Androids were a serious threat until lol RoSaT.
The multiverse wouldn't have been an issue if they developed it. They just rushed in with it and they to explain as it went along except it caused more questions. The worst is how berry's started off as pretty intimidating but once he became part of the crew him and the other bland designed gods were jokes. Jiren didn't help either with him.being stronger than his god
>i saw steins gate so i know what am talking about
>goy
Nice Freudian slip, Goldberg. Stay away from anime.
individually at the time of his death he could have dropped them.
But together they were much stronger and wouldn't tire.
Training correctly is a thing. That's why Vegeta is a powerlet for practically all of DBZ
Vegeta was clearly doing something right, having 18k when Goku had only 8.
13 years tho and all those zenkai boost from the battles should have made him god
He couldn't have fought them that much. I imagine they would have just killed him.
Considering they killed the others before him it also may have affected him getting any good training since all the experienced dudes were gone.
