Persona 4 anime was good. Persona 3 movies were decent. Persona 5 was trash though.

Persona 4 is decent as far as video game adaptations go. Golden is a cashgrab.

Persona 3 movies vary. I'd say the best ones are first one and last one, second one rushes through plot while third one ridiculously decided to try to cram all the fluff from the games in some way into a single movie. Last one improves upon last part of the game quite a bit.

Persona 5 is trash.

The first P4 anime was okay but still pretty bad. None of them are any better than that imo.

it's a real shame because if they actually put some effort into it they'd make great animes.

There is one thing golden is good for and that it provides some supplemental material on Adachi's character which I remember watching at the time and found really good. Other then that you're right.

I've seen people call the p4 anime new game plus and that's pretty accurate. It's great as a supplement to the game but probably no where near as entertaining if you haven't played the game.

The only good animation thing out of the SMT series is the Persona 3 movies and the Digital Devil Story OVA

I still don't get how that happened, I imagine it's the one person per job doing that frame so someone drew it, someone lined it, someone coloured it and someone okayed it and no one noticed.

I'd like to know if they even corrected it for the bluray version but can't bring myself to care enough to check

Avoid Golden outside of maybe adachi eps, p3 movies are eh in general but not terrible and P5’s just mediocre in all aspects.
Even the gay rival homolust with Akechi since Royal does it better. Or at least did Akechi better

they did, iirc it wasn't in the broadcast tv version either, i think what happened was that the streaming service doing an official overseas release got a rush version of the ep in advance so they didn't get any of the last minute corrections

The Persona 4 anime version of Yuu is 100 times better than the game. They added a lot of comedy to the events of the game which is nice because after replaying 4 it's extremely bland.
