Is there such thing as too much fan service? I legit could not get pass Sword Art Online due to the fan service. Currently watching K-On and while the fan service is at minimum, it's still weird seeing it from time to time .What do you guys think?

Only if you're a flaming homosexual.
There's such a thing as too much gay, and you have it.
There's no such thing as too much fanservice but there's such thing as bad fanservice.
This. At a certain point enough good fanservice provides it's very own use
/thread
You probably can't watch any anime if you were bothered by anything in K-ON. I think most anime will have stuff like going to the beach or going to a hot spring/bathing place. Depending on how it's done it could could as fanservice or not.
Them wearing swimsuits for the beach episode is doesnt count as fanservice op
I'm a fag and I don't even mind panty shots.
What kind if special grade faggot are you?
>sword art online
>due to fanservice
lmao
One of the defining traits of teenagers and young adults is being obnoxiously horny. Fanservice reflects that.
Take the K-Ons. Mio in particular is obsessed with what her hypothetical future husband will think of her. Her way of thinking about marriage is very immature, because it's just so outside of her current reality. But that's youth: graduation will come some day, and it means sacrificing their happy days for an unknown future that they instinctually crave. Mio barely understands what a husband is, but her body has an idea and won't shut up about it.
I mean when its from a first year highschooler where the show explicity states constantly then ya it's kinda weird
Too old for you?
There's literally nothing that could be considered "fanservice" in K-On.
>her future husband
deluded
It's called having taste OP, don't let these retards lead you astray. Yes the anime girls are pretty but watch something with more of a plot, your sexual desires are still going to be addressed but the proportion of story to naked girls shoots down to levels that don't feel shameful. Soon you'll learn to not watch weeb trash at all and just masturbate to hentai/porn at night. Then one day you'll get married and you won't have time for anything.
>you'll get married and you won't have time for anything
So having taste is a trap that will destroy your life?
I have watched shows like neon genesis evangelion and elfen lied where there is nudity but it is done for the sake of the story which is fine with me. I also enjoyed devilman crybaby which has a bunch of nudity but again is used to illustrate the main theme of the show.
Kinda, if you can't grow out of watching K-On and Yuru Yuri you'll become a dude who never grew out of watching shows like K-On and Yuru Yuri. Everyone thinks they're some chad who is the exception to the stereotype, until they realize they're not. At some point you become your Dad and sit around watching Star Trek all day.
Nudity isn't the problem, it's constantly dressing up for no reason and minute long scenes of girls being embarrassed by seeing someone's uncovered shoulder that are embarrassing. Just watch shows with interesting plot blurbs and if it's not entertaining stop watching it. Don't force yourself to like these shows that people only use for reaction macros.
I couldn't get pass SAO aswell and dropped like hot charcoal aswell, but because it was trash.
>Too much
It's an issue of quality, not quantity. Fan service should be in moderation with lots of thought put into it.
>constantly dressing up for no reason
This. You can like fanservice and rub one out if it pleases you, but the nature of fanservice is essentially adding scenes that are meaningless to the story as a whole. You can have sexuality, and trying to eliminate it entirely from storytelling is another cancer, but fanservice is when it doesn't add anything of value but roping in people like an advertisement.
I can't fathom what you could consider fanservice in K-ON.
Everything is pointless in a slice of life series though.
This. They don't even show Mio panty in that scene, OP is truly a fag
>SAO
>too much fanservice
You clearly haven't watched enough absolute trash if that's your example.
I was going to use Akame ga kill as the example but I have further progress on Sword Art Online
If even god damned shirobako had the odd questionable shot then absolutely nothing is pure
Ok, I guess eizouken, but that's it
>k-on
>fan service
are you fucking retarded?
>elfen lied
>nudity for the sake of the story
Eizouken had the bath house scene. Now, how arousing you thought that scene was might vary severely.
Don't know about you but this made me horny
If you're unable to not watch something because of fanservice that's your problem. If you are able to stop watching, then just don't watch bad things.
