Kimetsu no Yaiba
I would've loved to see some more SOL after Muzan's defeat, the survivors very much deserved it. Still, I think it was fine. Not great, not series-ruining, just fine. I really liked 204 though, and the final photograph in 205 made me cry.
I'd say a 7/10, then again I'm usually very generous.
Rather satisfying ending, it was good.
Also I'll never stop laughing at the idiots who thought Nezuko would have ended up with Sanemi
I think previous thread () is a good point to end general thread with everyone bidding their farewell.
Let's have a new thread in July when vol 21 extra is out.
I feel bad for lovefags who won't get their thread on June 1st.
Btw, since I was asleep while last thread's farewells were going on, I'll say it here.
Until next time, /kny/.
Muzan fight lasted too long, his final canonical death was as a giant baby, jesus christ.
demon tanjiro was dumb, he was there for like 2 chapters and he was gone.
I agree that we needed more slice of life after muzan's defeat. 1 nice chapter celebrating their victory and then a time skip.
How long did Tanjirou live for? What were the other characters doing once peace was back. What happened to the demon remnants?
Overall though, this manga is amazing and I would recommend to anyone. I hope they dont come back with a sequel, or everything the characters went through would have been wasted.
oh we could just make one for Lovefag on June 1st.
Who did she end up with? I don't plan on ever reading this so please go ahead and spoil me.
Zen
A random person from the mountains because sanemi and giyuu died from mark
also zenitsu married my previous incarnation that totally lived in the taisho period and we had lots of kids
Did Zenitsu have to fight in WWII?
should have given more screentime to the reincarnations instead of zenitsucuck descendants
it was clumsy and felt like a trudging slog that was also somehow going too fast and really killed the week-to-week enthusiasm and goodwill i had for the series, but on the other hand it's unfair to let that bad aftertaste and recency bias color the entire series. so many little things need to be reworked just a little bit or given more room to breathe, for the most part the main story beats were engaging enough that you didn't think about it but they eventually all added up as the material faltered in the home stretch.
overall i give it a solid 7 and i enjoyed it & the experience of following it despite the complaints listed above. it came off very earnest, if that makes sense, and there was something intangible in that feeling and in the loose charming art that made it more gripping and endearing than the sum of its parts would suggest. it really drew me in, which is i think why the parts where it faltered hit harder than something i was just consuming. i'm looking forward to the sanemi novel and curious about what the ln retellings will do though
Zenitsu.
Also, if you don't want to read it why not watching the anime? It's pretty good
maybe
well, he does live in bumfuck nowhere up in a mountain, and he didn't have a proper name until later on in life so he's not registered anywhere
The kamado household probably still has to go down to the town to get stuff, so the people could've questioned why their own kids went to war while the two physically healthy guys (tanjirou is crippled) up in the mountain get to live
wait for the spinoff about the gang trying to help zenitsu get out of the draft
they could call it aoi's hospital massacree
Zenitsu doesn't deserve Nezuko.
Marathoned the whole series in one go. It just felt like the author got sick and tired of his own shit and rushed things to conclusion. There wasn't much characterization or worldbuilding. Most battles were just waiting to see what neverheard technique the MC pulls out of his ass to win while the others job. But kudos for knowing when to quit, that alone makes Kimetsu better than 99.99% of shounenshit out there.
stay mad
i'd read it
>Avoid the draft
More like with his blonde hair he gets mistaken as an ally spy.
Sanemi's a healthy boy with 80% of his fingers. They'd draft him in a heartbeat.
He's missing his trigger finger. Though he'd probably just get kicked out for insubordination immediately anyway, hazing and beating subordinates was the Imperial military's bread & butter
>Goofus Zenitsu uses thunder breathing to dodge the draft
>Gallant Nemi washes out after crippling six other privates and throwing his sergeant through a window
>Gay & Ugly fights the war and earns his shore leave in beautiful Hiroshima
>Inosuke doesn't come home after the war ends, lives in the jungles of Papa New Guinea for 15 years
Zenitsu
pikachu
Fuck bros I miss it already
I'll miss you all.
How do I get a love pillar gf
Nezuko deserved so much better than Zenitsu, who should be in juvenile detention for being a creep
