That's a weird way of saying oregairu, specially the light novel

I mean just the sheer depth of the characters, the subtext, the inteligent dialogues you simply cannot understand if you're a brain dead anime watcher, the connections you need to make to understand the characters motives and dialogues, it's truly a master piece
no
What new ground has it broken?
Yes
1. The pair actually gets together
2. The manga CONTINUES even after the pair gets together instead of ending
3. The pair is such a perfect fit they continue to exist in the background happily while the story focuses on other side characters
Maybe
I like Kaguya but Jitsu Wa remains supreme in those aspects and more.
Not that hard in the post Nisekoi era. In an age where everything is garbage the decent one is a godsent.
hachiman
>this "it's rare for a romcom couple to date" myth still isn't dead
This just in, apparently fucking Momokuri was a groundbreaking series.
Oregairu groundbreaking of what? The story literally about a loner becomes a slut magnet surrounded by a lot of chick.
I can't even self insert to it
I'll ad that the anime has fucking incredible comedic editing and sound work.
All that matters is that the comedy is actually funny and the characters are relatable and adorable. The setting hardly matters when it's successful because of good writing.
>have main characters hold hands after 150 chapters
>TIME TO INTRODUCE 20 NEW SIDE CHARACTERS TO KEEP SUSPENSION UP
christ all mighty spare us from this
Isn't that for Komi?
Romcom anime must be in a pretty fucking sad state if this is considered "groundbreaking"
>continue to exist in the background happily
The entire last volume was an over dramatic mess centered entirely around those two. Would of been better if it ended sooner.
It had way too much shitty drama regarding Mikan and alien girl.
IT BROKE NEW GROUND
I really want to read Jitsu Wa but I can't get over how hideous the art is.
This reads like the Rick and Morty copypasta
God I wish Komi was better. I mean it's good when Tadano and Komi are around, but every chapter focusing on some fucking nobody is a drag to get through.
>The guy who knows all about romcom cliches and tropes in manga suddenly becomes blind when it involves him
Easily one of the worst memes in shit like this. Not to mention the over the top kidnapping knife shit
I'd barely call that a hairline fracture in the ground.
There are loads of series (Arakawa, REC, Oremonogatari, Yandere Kanojo, Omoi ga Omoi Omoi-san, etc.) where the couple gets together in the beginning and rest of the manga is spent on actually developing their and side characters' relationships.
Watch out guys, we got a romcom professional over here. Whatever you say, Dr.Stone
Juliet was much better
Wrong, GoToBun is better
Juliet was Nisekoi-tier trash.
Although Juliet herself was a top tier cutie.
