Reminder that she got away with everything
Reminder that she got away with everything
Everyone who wasn't the MC got away with everything with no effort whatsoever. What was even the point of this whole shit story if every other piece of shit just gets forgiven without having to confront their actions?
To date one of the worst anime/manga ever made.
How the author's new series is actually really good is beyond me
Is it really?
the point is pieces of shit get away with everything, just like in real life
Makes sense now.
So why is everyone calling it a feel good story then?
They can get away with everything, sure, but in real life you don't have to keep pretending that those pieces of shit are friends like it happens with Ueno, Kawai and the other faggots in this manga.
Maybe if the mute bitch stood up for herself instead of breaking down she would have been punished.
This, and rape victims shouldn't have dressed like sluts.
The movie itself promotes victim blaming
Internet tough guy who's pussy irl
No
How? Ueno is the only one who victim blames, but you don't need to agree with her. If anything, Nishimiya and Yasho's main problem is that they hate and blame each other too much, and it makes living a normal life really hard
Everyone is an asshole in this series
And that's why I hate that manga
The scene where Shoko apologises to her bullies isn't victim blamey at all
Shouko blames herself for everything since day one and that's why she's miserable. It's not portrayed as something good
Sorry, I meant "themselves" not "each other"
I think it's one of the stronger points of the story. Most of the characters didn't really grow up. They were just stupid teenagers.
OP is the worst offender in that respect. Ueno at least is honest and comes to terms with Shoko about not liking each other.
In the end, it's the story of Shoya reconnecting with society and society isn't only made up of self reflected, emphatic people.
True, but to be fair she wasn’t as bad to Shouko as MC or Ueno.
That is true.
>Ueno at least is honest
so it's okay to bully disabled kids, being a complete bitch, insult others, be disrespectful, invade other's privacy, slap your seniors as long as your honest?
uenofags deserve the rope
Anime ending was a much better spot, was so hackneyed that Shouko, Ueno, Kawai all became friends in the end.
No she won't. Satoshi is secretly a hardcore sadist. Hell awaits her.
it is not
>In the end, it's the story of Shoya reconnecting with society and society isn't only made up of self reflected, emphatic people
This. The mc doesn't share a deep connection with Kawai, not as much as he does with other characters like his fat friend or Nishimiya's little sister. Yet she still loses the cross on her face early on, because interacting with Nishimiya collaterally makes him interested in Kawai's new hairstyle. The point is that people don't exist on a vacuum. By the end of the movie he tries to exclusively spend his time with Nishimiya, but they just share fake smiles because in reality they can't ignore the big bridge fight. You can't ignore the real world and the flawed people living in it
Ueno loses the group of friends she cherished so much and basically gets cucked. Her self-righteousness does bite her in the ass.
No, it's not. But that was neither the point nor the implication. The point was, that Ueno at least made some progress, despite being a rather terrible person.
Girl in OP couldn't even do that.
By the way, in my mind the teacher is probably the worst person in this whole story full of bad people.
>By the way, in my mind the teacher is probably the worst person in this whole story full of bad people.
He was meant to represent the failures of the Japanese educational system with supporting the disabled
Either you are an anime-only or a retard.
The teacher was the most reasonable person in the entire story and everything he ever said was correct.
>look at me guys I'm so edgy
Not him, but fuck off
I have to admit it's been quite some time since I read it, but as far as I remember, he didn't even try to bother.
I give you that he saw the problems from the beginning, but he didn't do shit to do something about it and just went "well, it can't work anyway, so let's run it it's course". I'm not sure if that's the best way to help young people grow up.
Holy based. Imagine getting paid for this
OH NO NO NO NO
Yeah. Not only is he an adult, so doesn't even have the excuse of being an adolescent who doesn't know how to handle emotions.
It's also his job to care. He's a failure on so many levels it hurts.
Got a point here.
