It's me, Aaron, again. I know some of you saw my thread last night on this topic but I wanted to start the conversation back up again this evening. First of all, congratulations to all of you with fat stacks of Link! What an exciting time to have those tokens in our Coinbase accounts. Personally, the past three months holding my so-called "suicidal stack" has been the hardest thing I've ever endured! Feels amazing to have 1,000 Link Tokens and know that I've secured my ticket for the Fourth Industrial Revolution. Now, let's get down to business...
To recap my thread from last night: since someone from the Chainlink team leaked Chainlink to biz and not to other more progressive and diverse places, it means that the project is tainted by all the toxic things that get posted here. The fact that they chose to help get so many people on this forum rich just shows the privilege straight, white, male–dominated spaces (even when they "just" exist online) have in our society still! I know you all think you've successfully evaded BLM and the culture war that's waging outside your door, but you haven't. You're still part of the problem if you aren't helping out progressive causes with both your wallet and your time and advocacy. It is well past time for this Community to reckon with it's privilege but also it's sexism, homophobia, violence, and toxicity.
As I said last night, I've started a conversation with the admins here over email and I'm compiling a PDF of problematic content that will need to be addressed going forward. Unfortunately, I've realized that I need to expand my efforts. In light of that revelation, I will also be reaching out to all of the big name partners that Chainlink has secured, as well as the Chainlink team themselves, in order to open their eyes to the community they have chosen to work with.
By the way, as a way of making this place more friendly and social, we're asking everyone to start signing their posts. I'm also adopting the practice of adding my personal pronouns to my posts and I totally encourage everyone else to do the same. We wouldn't want to feel like anyone isn't welcome here, right?

Another thing I need to mention, there is nothing wrong with Reddit.com. It's known as the front page of the internet, what could possibly be wrong about that? It has a great system to promote good posts which means there's WAY less garbage to sort through and since identities are stickier, a WAY better sense of Community is formed! In order to confront the negative bias held here against my favorite website, I'm using this super cute image with my threads for right now. Incidentally, I actually look almost exactly like this illustration (minus the antenna, unfortunately). In the future, I hope to have my avatar here be a selfie of me wearing my N95 mask.

I just want to point out that, while I recognize I'm a person of privilege and maybe I'm not exactly qualified to speak on this matter, I don't know if canceling chainlink is a great idea if we want its value to increase. I think instead of targeting the partnerships we should help foster a more accepting and open minded platform here on 4channel.org and help to reeducate fellow bizraelis!
Edit: I shoul clarify since my inbox is being blown up: I was not trying to make a statement on cancel culture.
