AMPL is being pooled right now and has been the top performer for how many days now? It's up against some of the worst establishment shitcoins in india who just happen to have a lead because they're feeding off the energy of the 2017 bullrun. But you know what? They still fucking suck. AMPL is one of the single greatest tokens in the world, it turned a small loan of a few ETH into hundreds and would have made more if not for whales trying to chase other pumps. its a lot of hype. pretty much all alt coins are, even chainlink still is. for many years bitcoin was internet drug money. there was no "future of finance" "defi" exchanges, etc. its was just for drugs. the 2017 bullrun was almost entirely built around this new age e-dollar system that will take over the world. we're still waiting. there will be no replacing btc until a functional system for commerce comes in to being.
btc is the first cypto. its edisons first bulb. if chainlink is the power grid connecting everything, btc is not the bulb of the future. it will be something more advanced. consider the led light of today.
or btc will still be used for a while, but in 10 years expect crypto to look much different. much more established. i don't think amplforth will be there at the time.

It's not, don't be a moron. There are still days of positive rebases to amortise the investments which you would lose if you sell now. Then, you'd buy in at 1 dollar but you'd buy less coins from a larger supply (due to the rebases). Everyone makes money still if the price per token (although that's not important, but the mcap is) is over 1.09 and no one loses money (unless they cash out) if it's over 0.95.

Mate, look at the graph above. It's like buying bitcoin at 2 bucks per coin and complaining when it dropped from 19k to 4k. If you're not a troll, try to look at the bigger picture. The drops only show that the mechanism works as intended, which for me is extremely bullish. I would have been much more concerned if it kept going up and supply increasing daily with 30-40%. That would have been extremely worrying. As long as the price stays above 1.09 we get positive rebases and we still have days of those left. And as long as the price stays over 0.95 no one loses money (unless they close their position). If you understand how it works (but for this you need to put in some effort, I spent 4 days going through their material, reading everything I could and filling my whiteboard with analyses and simulations) then you understand that there's nothing to worry about now and that the people who get ampl's algorithm are starting to increase their stacks again and will do so massively when the positive rebases reach only a few % or when we stabilise at 0.95-1.05 for a few days. Check what happened at the beginning of July.

You are only profitable if the mcap you sell at is larger than the one you bought at. The only question to ask is if you believe mcap is yet to go higher within a desirable timeframe. If not, it's better to stop the bleeding.
Will mcap continue to rise? How long will recovery take? Sell tops, buy bottoms.
