its better to have 1 or 2 abilities that you always use but in a clever way rather than dozens that you only use once and never see again. Although yusuke is lacking in the ability to fight multiple people and rarely uses the spirit orb healing powers

I honestly liked him being super nimble and having those air pressure flick gloves, and was hoping he'd rely more on that kind of gear. Just have him permanently work with Mei and use all her gadgets and figure out new ways to use them.

It only gets activated once in his first fight and then its gone. It gets mentioned once as an option in the Dark Tournament later I think, Togashi probably thought it was just too gross and weird for one of the main characters to use.

His real power is The Almighty. It's hinted when Ichigo explains on two occasions that he can predict what his enemies will do next. The power is inactive, but it is still possible to see the future while it is dormant. Yhwach did this at the start of his fight with Ichibei.
