My first figure was a nendroid. Figma are a bit nicer for a bit more of a price. I tend to avoid them though. They're not quite as cute as the nendroids in my collect and not as spectacular as the scales in my collection. You're popping your cherry so it doesn't necessarily matter as you can correct your tastes later but it does set a precedent mentally. If my first figure wasn't a nendroid I probably wouldn't have as many nendroids as I do.
