Is it? And here I thought we'd have half a week without one. When will you people learn not to rush it?
Anyway, I'm posting my pixiv-fanart version today. That's almost all the ones I have updated recently.
Anime: 6/9

Is there a reason the pics get bigger towards the bottom right? And is there a reason for you using Paint?

Nice story. What's your 3x3?
Manga.
5.5/7 -+ NHK, - K-ON!
Haven't watched Konosuba or Girls Last Tour
2/2 + Utena, Hyouge Mono
8/8 Haven't seen top middle
5/8 -+ NHK, Planetes TV, Azumanga - Shin Senkai Yori, Haven't seen place further than the universe
3.5/4 + Slam Dunk, Beck, Kuutei Dragons, -+ Akagi
Washizu Mahjong as both an arc and actual rule set of Mahjong may be the most complex and detailed thing to ever grace the game, however it's pacing is fucking abyssal which is a shame as prior to that the manga was quite well paced.
3/3 + HunterxHunter, Sailor Moon, Gundam Victory
6/6 + OPM, YKK, HunterxHunter, Sailor Moon, Cutie Honey
Seems a bit redundant to put both the anime and manga of a series as your favorites.
>Seems a bit redundant to put both the anime and manga of a series as your favorites.
Not really. Sometimes you like both a lot and there's no reason to skip one of them in their respective field. Sometimes the anime isn't a straight adaptation either.
Oh, and, by the way: It might be hard to tell from the fanart, but the manga isn't Sailor Moon. It's Codename wa Sailor V.
To be fair, you have to have a high IQ to appreciate Washizu Mahjong
Pretty good taste aside from Redditsuba
Based
I never really got into Mahjong. It seems like a simply structured game with far too complicated rules to be fun. With all it's different hands and actions and so on, it's the antithesis to things like Chess or Go, or even Poker and Koi-Koi (which have their own hands to remember, but make more sense).
Where other games get their complexity from the gameplay, Mahjong is complex in its design. I don't like that. It's typically Chinese.
When I play house rules Hong Kong mahjong at Chinese peoples' houses, it's a lot simpler than Japanese mahjong.
>with far too complicated rules to be fun
The only really complicated part of Mahjong is remembering all the various Yaku and trying to manually calculate your score (Online Mahjong avoids this issue). Honestly once you learn the what Yaku are and how to acquire them Mahjong becomes a lot more fun.
>Mahjong is complex in its design. I don't like that. It's typically Chinese.
I think it's more the issue of Mahjong being significantly based on luck, unlike Chess or Shogi.
>I think it's more the issue of Mahjong being significantly based on luck
That might be a factor, yes.

3/8 diu is my second favorite part, gurren is fun
>for some reason the rest of my post didn't get sent
6/9 eva was fun but some of the angel fights didn't land for me, lain is great
1/5 marin to melan was a fun show, howver the humor got in the way with its serious moment a lot imo, the sky crawlers atmosphere was extremely well done,
1/5 recently read made in abyss and it had amazing worldbuilding, pluto should be considered a classic
3/9 Hajime no Ippo was a fun anime, tokyo godfathers would be my second favorite from satoshi kon
8/9 champloo was great, love the soundtrack by nujabes, space dandy was extremely entertaining
2/4 good taste, slam dunk was fantastic and I'm currently reading vagabond, beck is great too
5/7 sailor moon has a special place, one of the first I saw, gundam too
4/5 one punch was entertaining and charming, not much else though, hunter x hunter has one of the best magic systems I ever seen, however it gets a little tedious with all of the exposition
1/8 I love gyakkyou, bebop, everyone knows about that, its great
Vagabond is good but REAL is better if you want intense drama. Slam Dunk is a blessed manga because it set a new standard for sport manga. Other series like Haikyuu and Eyeshield are good, but they tried to copy elements of Slam Dunk that don't work when imported into a different series. Its like copying someone's code. Works for them but not for you. I like series that set standards.
Dragonball is great at this and most WSJ manga are Dragonball copies, including Yu Yu Hakusho, HxH, Naruto, Boku no Pico Academia etc etc and so on and so forth.
Good manga always have good character design, so some of the popular shit at the moment doesn't reach me, like Kimetsu. Every one looks the same besides the pattern on their clothes. Or the Boichi garbage which is muscle porn for fujos, but awful character design.
Gaps between frames are ugly. What an unaesthetic 3x3.
That grey gap between your 3x3s is ugly. What an unaesthetic collage.
Perhaps it is - I just quickly stitched the two together. What do you suggest? Unless you're OP, in which case I don't care to hear your opinion on aesthetics or anything else.
I was being sarcastic. It's alright. I just found it funny that you'd criticize someone for doing almost the same thing you did.
Not quite the same, user. They're two separate 3x3, each aesthetically working on their own (not saying they're perfect either - I didn't put much effort into it). A grey line in the middle seemed to me the least obtrusive way to separate the two. I'm saying that if one takes the time and effort to create as seemingly meaningless a thing as 3x3, one might as well put some thought into it.
