Do you usually prefer anime or manga?
Do you usually prefer anime or manga?
I only read manga that won't be adapted into an anime or where the latter left off, so I guess it's anime.
I prefer LN's, JAV, live action and 4koma
Manga. I think there are very few cases where an anime will be an upgrade over the manga it's adapted from.
Manga
Better art most of the time
Much faster consumption
Full content instead of cutting corners to fit 20min/12 episodes per cour format
Voices and music are a very minor extra when it comes to storytelling for me so not even worth the effort
Manga. It's much easier and faster to consume.
This, most anime adaptations are just inferior to be quite frank.
Usually manga with a few exceptions where the anime did a really good job even with cuts and such things.
Examples
Made in Abyss and KnY
original source wether it be wn ln manga vn or anime. If I really love a work though if I don't care any medium is fine.
I read manga then watch the fights on youtube
Based nigger
I tell myself that I prefer anime dunno why.
In the cases it exists, I always watch the anime first, but then for the few shows that I actually read the manga or LN later, I end up enjoying it much more than the anime.
I acknowledge the fact that source material is almost always superior than the adaptation but can't get myself to ignore the anime and jump right into it.
I must be retarded or something.
manga even for Kimetsu. anime fuck up the potatoes
I usually prefer manga.
The problem is that the number of anime studios is smaller than the number of manga authors. So anime studios adapt maybe one or two seasons of a manga/LN and then go on to adapt something else.
The result is that almost no anime actually adapts something all the way to the end.
Manga much more rarely end on no end. Even when they get axed, they often try to hurry an end.
As a result, we get blueballed by anime all the fucking time, while it's not the case with manga.
Of course, some anime are original and do conclude on an actual end. But the vast majority of anime are adaptations of manga or LN.
>manga or anime
depends, if the animation enhances it which it RARELY does then the anime like in KNY's case as you posted
or maybe yu yu hakushuo as an example where you get great dubs
I don't even watch anime
I prefer Source material
>Kimetsu
neither
>Do you usually prefer anime or manga?
the source material
As long as the anime isn't a horribly butchered adaptation, I think it's often better than the manga. While nice animation and color is a plus I think the main benefit of anime is just the addition of music and voice actors which add a lot more impact to the scenes.
Based sourcers
It think anime excel at action while manga is better paced, especially when it come to comedy.
Anime id it's loyal to the source or at least tries to improve it, no dumbshits like changing the character looks like to the point it looks nothing like in the source.
This WarGreymon is okayish, but the mechanical Dramon Killer is stupid, it's vulnerable to breaking.
Manga since it's quicker.
I can binge read the whole KnY in one day.
Binge watching KnY anime would probably take me 2-3 days, and that only covers 1/3 of the whole story.
I've read more than 400 mangos
Watched probably around 50 shows.
Who he gonna stab with those? Look like a toy than actual claws.
In thus case, the anime. I just mute the scenes with zenitsu and it's pretty good
I forgot to mention that the BLADES are no longer straight, he's gonna have a horrible time piercing someone with that horrible redesign.
>Looks like a toy
user I...
>I can binge read the whole KnY in one day
do you speed read?
What's the point of those new claws design anyway? Look more fit for a construction vehicle than a war machine.
