Why does this fit so well?

I have seen that and it has nothing on the recent CSM chapter in terms of asspull.
Explain without using meme words.

Arachnid was kino as a whole though.

It was “kino” in the sense that it was so bad that it’s good.

>I have seen that and it has nothing on the recent CSM chapter in terms of asspull.
How bad are we talking?

I don't see why everyone is at odds with this arc.

The darkness demon as a whole was insane in terms of power - possibly one of the most fearsome demons - some teammates have died, I don't see the issue with how this is resolving.

I know the ex-gf thing he had going on was spectacular and depressing, but damn, this series is still really good to me.

it's like a downgraded chainsaw

Arc is about hunting down the mc. One hunter has an absolute super OP broken instant kill power, but conveniently never meets the mc or any of the main cast. She's only used it last chapter on the arc's final boss, who was too powerful for any other character, then she gets killed 2 pages later so the author doesn't have to worry about an ability like that existing in his manga.

>The darkness demon as a whole was insane in terms of power - possibly one of the most fearsome demons
That's why Master was such a lackluster villain. Even with his powers, she couldn't do anything special except being immortal. She felt absolutely nothing like a thread.
>some teammates have died
yeah, all the ones that were introduced at the beginning of this arc, like always.
>I don't see the issue with how this is resolving.
seeHalloween's ability is also a hard counter for Masters infinite puppets.

Dont forget that when she meets up with the mc, she takes him out in a non lethal way that would only cause her to lose favor with the person she was surrendering to instead of keeping him around as collateral or a witness.

Th entire arc went down the shitter pretty fast.
Quanxi being the first devil hunter, hyped as a super big threat and then being insta killed faster than light was just the most fitting end for this trash arc.

Has anyone noticed that the shitposting in CSM threads has really ramped up ever since we found out that our threads get translated?

I Liked it

Why didn't Halloween even try to Halloween Makima? Quanxi knew they were fucked regardless.

It was too many new ideas thrown together for most of them to amount to anything, but it's extra disappointing that half of them were just dropped like a sack of spuds to prove Makima is the strongest for the tenth time. And old characters like Power and Kobeni simply disappeared. Everything after getting dumped in hell just couldn't live up to what it promised.

Wow, two shitty bait threads? You're working hard today

The series just isn't the same without him, bros.

Why did Quanxi kill Denji? Did she not understand that would put her in a bad position when it comes to negotiating with Makima? Why didn’t she use Halloween earlier? Could Halloween have defeated Darkness if Halloween went to Hell with everyone? Why did Yoshida and Kishibe need to be there when Makima killed Quanxi and her devils? What was the point of Quanxi going into her devil form when Halloween could have killed Master at any point?

Yes

>Explain without using meme words.
The library scene conveyed a feel of The Sublime through surprise, suspense, and scale. It's beauty that becomes horrifying and nightmarish, without losing its sense of humor by the fact that the cosmic horror depicted there is a silly zombie girl who repeats the world "Halloween" like a pokemon.
It is a masterpiece of pacing and paneling too. Each panel makes the characters smaller while the scale of the library becomes more noticeable and bigger. And the vacant facial expressions of Master convey very well her fake calm state at what is coming.
It's masterful storytelling.

only the ones with the official viz dump isn't it?

Hunterchads...we got too cocky....the CSMscholars are too powerful...

Kino explanation.

The second one is bait, don't even bother replying to his response.

Halloween's ability is literally a knockoff of Gojou's territorial expansion

I really liked the part with Cosmo
After seeing Darkness I forgot that there's other powerful devils out there with their own crazy abilities
Mindrape spreading through all the other dolls is a clever idea, a creative way to resolve the fight
Master was really underwhelming though, there's no way around that
I also feel like taking of some points for doing the Makima ending yet again
7/10, maybe 6.5 if I'm feeling harsh

Nah, Halloween is a contrived overpowered deus ex machina who conveniently gets killed at the end of the chapter after fulfilling her role.

I hope they explain why they didn't attempt to mindfuck Makima
