Tell me if I understand this correctly Zig Forums?
If I buy in now it might go down further but will never go below 0.95 correct? As there will be a negative rebase which will reduce the currency but I will retain the same % of the currency ownership.
This means provided it does eventually go up above $1.35 again at some point I don't lose anything and I get in early on the future pumps (which seems like the thing to do).
I appreciate for some waiting until $1 is a thing but I'm not awake or on it all day like some of you folks and will be so thinking of buying now and waiting for the inevitable pump at $1 when it will likely shoot up near $2 before I've had a chance to buy in?
>I appreciate for some waiting until $1 if you want to enter on this mcap expansion then you need to buy today. i'd say wait for 1.20 but there's a high risk of missing out

The coin was working as intended but dumbass pajeets who with extremely low IQ and Jewish rug pullers teamed up and fucked it once they saw the +26% rebase but all they saw was a -26% in the chart they follow the chart like mindless slaves so they began mass selling turning that -26% to the coins destruction. This coin was fine but it doesn’t understand human behavior especially those of people who only see red they sell no matter what because uase they had a misunderstanding
Hi, I'm a bit confused. I bought in yesterday (only 125 AMPL), and was told that my amount would go up and down as the market cap moved 24 hours later I still have 125 AMPL?
William Lee
Rebase just creates inflationary (downward pressure) above $1 and deflationary (upward) pressure below $1. The reason we got to $4 was because of massive fomo by ppl who didn't understand the mechanism and just thought "lol money printer go brrrr" getting 20% to 30% "free coins" every day. Now without that upward pressure from massive fomo counteracting the inflation and/or whales buying we will go back to $1.

I dont get the point of this coin, what difference is there in selling 2 coins for a dollar each or 1 coin for 2 dollars? How does that add "liquidity" to anything? Also the price being uncorrolated doesnt mean anything because the market cap is very corrolated. Only use case I see is as a fancy gambling platform to smack the money out of addicted day traders as if they were bottles of ketchup
Josiah Smith
did you keep it on an exchange?
Adam Martin
This is going to 40c the absolute bottom maybe even further
Nathaniel Lewis
It's in metamask
David Robinson
I don't think it will go that low. At 40c you can get a large % of the MC for cheap that will be too joocy for whales to ignore. I think we will hover around 90c to $1.10 until the next fomo cycle happens.
Xavier Thompson
Right. That means of course that the same thing will happen again when it inevitably goes up presumably.
It's sort of inevitable that's going to happen though isn't it? It's like an oscillating pyramid scheme. My concern is buying in now before it inevitably goes up again which of course it will because when the big rebases start coming again people will buy in. It already happened once when it hit an all time high and then went back down closer to $1 and stayed pretty low and flat for a week or so.
Christopher Barnes
maybe you bought after the rebase? not sure about your time zone.
anyway, check your wallet on etherscan, you should have like 150 ampl more or less
Jose Bell
$1.3 is a good entry price, sure could dip to $1.1 or below but you can DCA then
i wouldnt risk missing out on some nice compounding gains for sake of 30 cents now
Blake Butler
I don't think you understand what's going on here chum. It can't go below $0.95 because of the rebases.
Ryder Evans
it absolutely can before a rebase happens retard
Jayden Howard
>this asset cannot go below a certain value Aaahaha
Bentley Cox
But then it adjusts anyway at the rebase so effectively it means nothing unless someone chooses to sell below $0.95. Which no one is going to do unless they were mentally handicapped.
Seems to be going back up now, possibly $1.35 was the bottom point I guess and now it will build again. Seriously considering buying in now...
>Which no one is going to do unless they were mentally handicapped.
Yeah... dont bet on that.

Fair point but the reality is I'm not so that's all that really matters to me.
Luke Thompson
OK I agree, my statement was wrong as is but you get the point. It adjusts back to $1 every day because of the negative rebase and you continue to own the exact same % because if it then goes above $1 you get the positive rebase. So if I buy in now at $1.41 (unfortunately it's now going up) then provided it goes back to $1.41 at some point I can't lose.
Thats the problem for me, everyone talking like owning a percentage of the network is a new concept or something.. same applies to most coins, when they drop in value you dont lose your share of the network
Nathaniel Flores
Make no mistake today I will be micromanaging my assets for AMPLE waiting minute by minute till I feel the need to buy more, the fud cuased by today’s rebase could drop it below the 95c mark I will be awake for the next 48 hours till it reaches the designated buy in point when I see whales buying back in that’s the go signal, we will make it once that happens straight to $4+ again
