Just graduated from med school. Ironically, by the time I finish my residency (4 years) and can begin making $400,000 annually, I will most likely already be a multi-millionaire and will never have to work again. What is this cosmic joke?
Tfw fell for the medicine meme but have 30K LINK
Literally the best possible thing, you have your diploma just as a status holder while you literally never have to work a single day in your life.
Thanks, mate. I may end up using some of my gains to open up my own clinic and just hire other docs to work in it. Or maybe I will try to get into medical consulting. I feel like I should try to leverage my newfound wealth and my degree in a synergistic way. Feeling pretty comfy. Residency is gonna suck though lol...Imagine being a wage slave getting chewed out by attendings even though you are worth more than them and could retire on the spot. I will finish though, to make my mummy proud.
You might be one of the few doctors to have a life and work part time op god speed
What specialty?
Dermatology
Cozy
How to get rid of acne scars?
Sorry, I'm not quite sure, mate. I haven't started the derm training yet. But I have heard good things about chemical peels.
Some abrasive treatment by an aesthetic clinic (expensive, fast) or dermaroller (cheap, slow). Result may vary tho. You could do both.
In a similar position mate, tho I am already 2 years in training and only 10k link.
Feeling good and totally comfy, once you get a grip on your speciality (which if u start working at the right place and are not a lazy retard you will) you will be beyond comfy.
Medical technology research my man. That's what I'm going into when I make it, though I am just a humble electrical engineer.
The world (and I) need medical science to stop being so comfortable with stagnation, and make some faster progress towards solving pressing health issues permanently, with new technology. heart disease plauques for instance. Why can't we have some kind of nanobot that fixes this? It seems possible within the laws of physics.
We are very likely going to get hit with these diseases in our lifetimes also, so it's an investment in good health and long life for yourself too.
Make medicine great again!
sunscreen to prevent uv damage which will prevent scars from going
tretinoin
red light
anything that gets rid of old skin, exfoliation, peels etc but dont overdo it
Is that makeup?
Please dedicate yourself on how to fix chronic pain man it’s stalled my life for ten years I’m just very optimistic for a cure that’s why I haven’t killed myself yet
youd think with all of this tech something so primitive would’ve been fixed
This shit Its like the Goldbach conjecture of medicine ffs
Gets way more painful with the heat too
>I will most likely already be a multi-millionaire and will never have to work again
dont do that it will be miserable, thats what all tards do when they win the lottery and they always go broke after like 6 years
Why though? Just study how to regrow new organs and implant them
My gf is in med school and says this is the most sought after specialty. Good for you user. Comfy 9-5 hours, good pay, can live where you want most likely.
Most doctors live life to the fullest. My best friend growing up is an orthopedic surgeon and my other friend is an anesthesiologist, both push it to the limit. If you hung out with them you'd be like "holy shit these guys operate on people?"
Quit school, accumulate LINK under $10. That's it. Or just buy FUND while its low and then never work again when you 100x.
>need medical science to stop being so comfortable with stagnation.
About to graduate dentistry and I am surprised how many materials/techniques we use that are literally pre 1950's. So many fucking boomers refuse to retire to despite being absolutely loaded.
Shit needs a real digital shakeup.
graduates are so delusional, you will make 400k in 10 years from now.
Hi Med. it is Rooshy
A recent derm grad from my program signed a contract for $800,000 annually in his first year out of residency. He did an extra year of dermpath fellowship, and the job was in a flyover state. But still. Derm is a unicorn.
I love you, Rooshy. Don't forget to take your Tongkat Ali today. Doctor's orders! ;)
PhD student with 30k link here, has it right. Looking forward to being a doctor but not needing to do anything but stake (already paid off loans).
My man, since you are here, is this aloa vera good for sunburns. I have sensitive skin and burn easly as fuck, never tan, but I hear that this aloa vera is good for burning?
And what is best for face skin care, like some serious shit that works?
Yes aloe vera is good for sunburn. And what are you trying to accomplish with your face? Acne treatment? Try benzoyl peroxide containing washes. If the acne is severe /cystic, you may need an oral antibiotic or accutane
Cool story bruh
how much do you earn in residency and how many hours are you going to work? just curious
I myself am about to fall for the medicine meme in Austria though it doesn't pay nearly as well but university is free
No no no, nothing that serious, just those tiny black pores and few acne scars from before. I don't have actual acne anymore, but additional washing and cleaning up would also be good...
you should work for a few years anyway op. gettin some experience under your belt is a good thing even if youre rich.
