it's honestly pretty fun to work with because you can panel it so that it feels more cinematic with the wider resolution but it definitely feels harder to get a lot of content in because of the constricted space. As an artist who has done both manga style and webtoon (scrolling) style though I'd say webtoon has been funner so far.

It depends on the anime style for anime at least. Some anime studios just have a particular way they animate their characters, the distinction is greater in manga.
