Shingeki is a military assault/advance rather than attack.

It would be close to : "military advance on the titans."

It's basically something like "Attack of Titan" . It could mean an attack from a titan, an attack to a titan, an attack titan. All you know is that the words are connected somehow because there's a "no" in the middle
