Sikorsky got nerfed so hard. You could tell itagaki just decided he hated him.
Why did Itagaki bring back Gaia anyway? He didn't need to show up ever again after Yujiro beat him.
Also, why did Gaia only come at Musashi with a spring loaded knife? Why not use his martial arts? Why not fight him the jungle since he's a guerilla warfare specialist?
Itagaki can be such a hack sometimes.
Is Gaia stronger than Motobe ? Considering one is a fucking guerilla fighter and the other just a budoka.
Because Gaia is cool, also use his martial arts? Guerrilla warfare is his specialty but fighting with weapons is just as legitimate. He could politely ask Musashi to walk into the nearest forest but I thought it was pretty clear in the story that everyone wanted to challenge Musashi right then and there because they were bored. And what's wrong with the spring loaded knife? It was a suprise attack that hopefully would catch Musashi off guard after the gun failed. I suppose Gaia wanted to use weapons, trying to test new weapons on a old warrior, though this is speculation from myself.
No Motobe is strong in weapons at the very least, and hand to hand. Maybe in a forest or jungle it would be different but I doubt it. In Gaia's own words Motobe is a true warrior. I think the most recent arc is to rectify one of Motobe's two fights before he become a weapon's specialist, aka Sumo is actually great that's why Motobe lost. I'm gonna bet Itagari losing to Sikrosky being because Itagari needs meme magic from a cheering crowd to function, uh power levels in Baki aren't as set though so it's all fine.
Motobe is definetely stronger than Gaia
Dou showed that Gaia was his student and learned majority of his skills from him
Sikorsky's story served a purpose; we see different angles of fighters we simply don't get to explore too often.
Sikorsky's the weakest of the strong, that's all. He has the superhuman abilities, chumps normies, but when push comes to shove, he's the bottom super, and that's it. we see a loser.
Gaia's about tactics, but he doesn't train his body the way the rest of the cast does. you could say he's -only- about warfare tactics. We don't get to see it often, but we know Motobe trains his body to be the best at the weapons of war that he specializes in.
Gaia probably knows how to use all of Motobe's tools, but Motobe has the skill and power to properly beat Jack down with a wooden dagger.
gaia asking one of the most notorious cheaters/pragmatics in history to step into his environment. there are so many ways this would've played out.
>musashi arrives earlier than gaia and scopes out the land and makes traps/notes of the terrain.
>musashi arrives very late that gaia actually has lost patience/stressed out
>musashi arrives after days/wweks of no personal hygiene
I can't fucking wait for this weeks chapter. I really hope doppo doesn't lose
good idea, but Gaia would naturally have read the Go Rin no Sho, and the japanese already know the standard Musashi legends.
No, Musashi would just make it a point to notice all this shit and have accounted for it by the time he draws his sword. we'd get a scene of Gaia fearcreaming himself about how Musashi sherlock'd everything based on how the grass was stepped on, or somesuch.
No matter what, it won't happen next chapter.
I'm really exited to see hanayama fight. how many fights has he even won besides spec and the random guy from maximum tournament? its about time he get a win
he's gonna get that weird midget, dammit.
baki is fighting the tiny sumo guy
The strongest!

>4 chapters of Hanayama running at the guy
Baki vs Honoo! The battle of imagination!
Don't worry Doppobros, he is going to win.
This is accurate, like the story of Musashi fighting with a man that was using a Kusarigama. Musashi got deep in the forest and he placed himself in the middle of trees, that way his opponent could not land a hit.
Pretty similar to what Memetobe did against Yanagi.
What happened to Motobe’s other student anyway?
i think he's the closest thing to a real retcon in this series, but then he might be one of the many one-time fighter to get a one-off panel sometime in the last 28 fucking years.
i vaguely recall it being said that he got too fucked up to fight again, but don't hold me to that.
Musashi is strong and strong is beautiful!
thats the face of a man who had japanese taco bell and is ready to brap on someone
>>musashi arrives very late that gaia actually has lost patience/stressed out
Isn't that a tactic the real Musashi actually did?
>Itagaki: At the start of Grappler Baki, there was a character named Hanada Junichi, but there was a mistake made in the establishing of his character and there was no possible way to keep him. So, after fretting things over with Sawa, the chief editor at the time, we realized the simplest answer was to bring out an even more powerful character. So, I brought in the Mount Toba character long before I had expected I would use him.
Did you not read Gaia's arc? Did you not even read his fight against Sikorsky? He throws sand like bullets and screams as loud as a flashbang because he traumatized by WARFARE IN THE CONGO which created his split personality (which he now no longer has for whatever reason), Gaia (the earth) to create an eco friendly warfare he can use while unarmed.
Why would Gaia, the guy who was actually in wars, job so easily to Misashi while Motobe did so well? Why would he throw away his best moves for a cheap trick?
you mean the shit Baki beat before his balls fully dropped?
Baki literally died fighting Gaia
