I never drop anime but here's a moment that made me pick up an anime.

a few months later I decided to watch some action scenes from 2.0 and 3.0 (beast 02 was cool) but I never went back and finished the movie or watched 3.0

I bury bad memories so i can't even tell.

Based, the less regrets the more time to enjoy

bump

This is Hand Shakers, right? Looks like one of those Blingee gifs you'd find on old homepages.

Why you hate feelings?

I'm an expert at only watching shows I know I'm going to like.

Isn't this from the second to last episode? You might as well finish at that point.

They threaten me because feeling them reminds me of how cripplingly lonely and self-loathing I am.

Feelings are cool. Big, dramatic animation and music trying to make you feel things when the script and acting fall woefully short isn't.

This was actually the best ep so good job dropping it

the ending of season one of seven deadly sins was so laughably bad that I haven't watched another episode since. it was such concentrated dues ex machina bullshit that I knew the show was heading to the gutter right afterwards. its a shame because I was enjoying it up to that point

Drill on you magnificent bastard...

Took you THAT long?
Only interesting character of the series, only kept going because the Zig Forums threads made it just bearable to watch

Watched past that for like one or two episodes, just up until they were like "oh L is dead welp good thing we have basically unlimited child geniuses who can do this shit for us, L wasn't that important overall"

This looks kind of hot.
Would be nice if whole show was like that.

What a fucking Piece of hack shit, i am not able to look at that scene again without cringing in the worst way possible because of the retarded plot convenience

>inb4 I love emilia

Plastic Memories, episode 1 maybe 2-3 minutes in.

Didn't need to watch more past this whole opening bit but did anyway to confirm my suspicions. Revisited a few of the threads and yeah it was exactly what I thought. Was hoping for something else given the synopsis, got it all ruined within the first few minutes.

I immediately drop any anime when the at least high school age male protagonist gets cripplingly embarrassed when presented with even just a subtly sexual situation involving the opposite sex (female willingly strips in front of them, walking into a female's room, etc)

This was a good plot twist but they didnt even try to add a good replacement character so everyone hates that he died

My only issue with that is when the high school dude can somehow leave school to go command an army or kill a bunch of aliens/demons/etc after with balls of steel.

Does it really count as "dropping" if you stopped watching when it ended?

The problem for me was that L was built up to be some kind of world respected detective that was super important to solving these kinds of cases only for not even an episode to go by before "oh btw we have these kids who are just as good and managed to do what L did with little trouble given their age".

That's what killed me, felt like all the build up to L's tactics were just normal whatever till then while in contrast to the world built it looked something much bigger.
