Rabirin falls for the mascot of an herb shop named Lavendaruma-chan, but won't reveal her shit taste to Pegitan or Nyatoran out of fear that they'd make fun of her. Nodoka goes to buy the mascot for Rabirin, but she pretends to hate it in front of Nyatoran and they end up fighting and can't transform when they need to.

The dates are all wrong because of the way the season is structured but Mahou was always meant to be evocative of the whole folk tale behind Tanabata. I've always loved that story and I don't know if it's quite the same if you don't grow up with it, but tragedy of a longing that deep is good stuff.

Kirakira's final battle was great, had me pretty hyped throughout. The dogfight in the first half was nice and I'm a sucker for climaxes where everyone cheers on the heroes. Elysio voring the whole Earth followed by the cures making a new Earth with everyone's kirakiraru was a rather surprising jump in scale though. I think Elisio was a good villain, I'm glad he was the final boss instead of Noir. It's been a really fun ride, can't believe it's almost over already. I'll miss looking forward to my daily dose of Bune.
Also that user was right, Twinkle's ending was basically Kirakira's on a much larger scale.
