Example, "This is the choice of Steins;Gate" as the final line fits perfectly with his lengthy character progression, going from using his Kyouma persona as a crutch and defense mechanism for stressful situations, to rejecting and despising it for its delusion and how it led him to his horrible situation, to ultimately accepting that it is a part of who he is and can be used in positive way.

Easily Madoka. It’s not even a comparison. That’s like comparing Mike Tyson to an elementary school kid in the ring. Madoka is on an entirely different level and is in the conversation for best anime of all time let alone the best anime of the last decade. The only people who hate on Madoka are people who haven’t watched it yet and people who didn’t understand it which is a lot.

Naa. Madoka not only deals with ethics on a more detailed level but executed them with a lot better music and art.

I would say Madoka Magica.

S;G is good but the pacing is kind of a mess, especially in the beginning. It suffers from being a VN adaption with all its SoL stuff and straight up redundant characters and all their specific arcs.

Madoka Magica is such a highly stylized and narratively tight experience. It works much better as a continuous piece since it doesn't have to adapt anything and can use the medium to its fullest extent.
