woops wrong pic
I don't know, nostalgia?
FMA:B is possibly the most overrated anime ever but it's still at a solid 7/10, it's a fun entry level anime with action, likeable characters and a decent story
Oh man fully agreed. Growing up my sister loved it and I recently watched it to give it closure in my head, having seen a few episodes. Its all over the place and the ending makes no fucking sense. 3/10 tops. Also Vash is a total loser.
It sucks.
Nostalgia goggles.
Nostalgia googles, people only have good memories of these shows because there was nothing better to watch so it seemed as the greatest thing, anime in general is better nowadays but people are just tired now.
babbys first twist. It's like the GoT equivalent normie shock factor but for potential soon-to-be-weebs
I think the aesthetic and kind of futuristic space western setting it had paired well with Cowboy Bebop and Outlaw Star which both also aired on CN around the same time. It’s probably mostly nostalgia.
amazing setting and production values paired with, sadly, very weak story and insufferable ultra faggot MC
also best boy dies because the show needed cheap drama
should I watch this or the 2003 anime? I haven't seen either
Trigun is perfect with its atmosphere and characters. The fights aren't what you read/watch it for, which is why I assume you dislike it, since you seem like an average shounenbaby.
Most people wached when they didn't know much about anime so they were able to sincerely enjoy it, it also has great sound and animation.
Is this thread b8?
Because Trigun is universally loved and if you hate on it you are a tasteless zoomer faggot.
Thanks for proving OP right.
Depends. Brotherhood is a very typical shounen, though it has its moments. 2003 is better IMO because it sticks to it's themes. The thing people don't like about it is that it doesn't follow the manga and doesn't have quite the grand scale or climactic ending that Brotherhood has. I think that's for the best, though, because Ironically the brothers are apart from each other about half the time in Brotherhood while they're together basically the whole time in 2003.
I dislike it for the reasons this person stated
I also think the ending comes out of nowhere and doesnt make sense. He should have offed his brother, or vice versa. The idea of rehabilitating him in asinine. Make the sacrifice of breaking your one rule ladyboy.
Is anyone watching Plunderer here? The exact same thing but nobody calls it a masterpiece, if Plunderer would have aired 20 years ago it would have been a classic too.
>insufferable ultra faggot MC
Bet you're just oozing with testosterone, you incel
Theres certainly a healthy middle ground between a coal rolling lifted truck over compensating manly man and the high pitched ultra faggot that is vash the stampede.
Vash the Stampede is probably the biggest pleb filter I have ever seen in anime.
Right? The plebs latch onto him because he *looks* badass, ignoring his terrible one dimensional personality and total lack of valid motivation behind his actions.
>total lack of valid motivation behind his actions
Did you miss the whole flashback?
If anything the flashback should have motivated him to hunt down his dangerous brother going on a killing spree.
Were you the same person that mentioned that in the last thread? Either way, I have to agree.
The whole point of Vash is that he's a stubborn idealist. And he's not actually going to rehabilitate his brother but he's just going to be close enough to keep him out of trouble for the rest of their lives.
Thats an even dumber ending than I could have possibly interpreted.
If you cannot see that this is a baby's first bait thread you should just pack your stuff and leave this site.
This isn't even a bait thread, you have to explain why the show is good and not just shit seen through rose-tinted nostalgia goggles
The defining point in his life was watching Rem bleed out with her blood on his hands. His aversion to killing can be traced back to that even more than Rem's talk of her dream of the blank ticket, and the trauma of that easily overwhelms any motivation to kill Knives.
And he WAS constantly hunting down Knives. Every time they got separated, Vash started searching for Knives afterward. Only exception was the Fifth Moon incident, but that was because he was rightly afraid that he might end up doing more damage than Knives, and Knives sent Chapel explicitly to get Vash back on the hunt.
