Spice and Wolf was pretty good.

Spice & Wolf was the better show, there's no denying that. Maou is more my type of woman though.

[C] introduced me to the absurdity of modern economics and finance.

There's less cute girls in the real thing, other than that, it's pretty much as ridiculous.

I really don't like the anime designs compared to the Kotowaru manga.

Wolf before whatever that shit on the bottom is.

Depends. If I'm trying to make a ton of money in D&D to support my scroll making habit which would I need to watch?
I've seen S&W but not the Macroeconomics one.

I would pay 300 dollars to get it.

do you like book 1) a normal day on /biz
book 2) i'm from houston, I know an enron reference when I see one
or book 3) "you know those pricks who won in 2008, I wanna BE that prick"

Hard for me to choose, really. 1 was fine but overall felt fairly slow since it really was just an intro that ended on a major cliffhanger. 2 was really good and Eleanor is amazing, but other than MC repeatedly crying to himself in his thoughts it pretty much ignored the cliffhanger from 1 and did its own thing. I liked the plot in 3 and it tried to clean up remaining plot points but considering the wait it felt pretty rushed and a bit nonsensical, the way MC "handled" Barton also felt pretty frustrating and cliche to me. Can't really pick a favorite.

if someone makes another economic anime would they cast Koshimizu and FukuJun too?

I feel like 2 had way too much climax and no bringdown desu, like, it ended right after the big reveal, it was kinda jarring

This is incredible news!

What kind of question is that? OF COURSE Macroeconomics. Man I remember taking AP Econ in High School and Macro was THE SHIT. Simple, functional understanding of real world economics with countries and stuff. Real stuff like you know, Phillips curve, AD, SRAS, whatever.
Then we came to Micro and it all turned out to be pretty gay. Market structures? Strategies? what was all that GAY shit!? No wonder I got 5 in one and 2 in the other one-

I feel like pretty much all of them were like that. Hell I'd say 3 had it even worse than 2. It felt like the whole ending segment was moving at breakneck speed. MC and Hagana get like 1 decent scene together, they save the Moon, everything works out and then in the epilogue they're fucking married, despite at this point they spent like what, a few weeks or months together as awkward teenagers, then split up on a very bad note for 8 years and just barely got back together, after Hagana tried (and basically succeded) to out-villain the villain and remove MC's entire home country. Seems like they would've needed a lot more time before jumping straight to marriage.

1 was pretty good about showing the excruciating process of getting bogged, but I guess it did have the same sort of rush
maybe the man just doesn't know how to end stories, it's been a long time since i've read spice and wolf so I can't remember if those were as abrupt

Nah, I don't remember S&W being like that at all. IIRC S&W novels mostly had the core plot of the volume resolved within the same volume, obviously with longer-lived plot points being left for the future. I don't ever remember being pissed off about S&W ending abruptly only for the next volume to debut with a major timeskip that either ignores the major cliffhanger or basically sweeps all the consequences under the rug. Plus the actual ending for S&W definitely wasn't rushed, it basically had a whole epilogue volume which then ended up launching in new series. I liked WEE but it felt like it really suffered for the much shorter length than what S&W got.

I bow before you user

macro no giod p

it's not confirmed by any means, but he just tossed that out there as a possibility and got a bunch of positive responses so it's on his radar. C2 would definitely have some interesting stuff to say post corona and post crypto.
