The creator said however that Andromon was based on a 4-legged creature from a 90s mecha anime, but nobody can figure out what he's talking about.

Apparently not, this was apparently after the original design was rejected (a four legged creature). They probably saw the resemblance, then made it apparent with the evolution.

I liked Savers, but the last arc is just too short, it really needed more episodes to flesh it out and give everyone something to do.

I was disappointed when Magnamon wasn't voiced by Junko Noda since they got her in X-evolution, but then again X-evolution just seemed to choose its characters based on who their voice actors played in previous series. I was super happy that Masako Nozawa was Dukemon again though, even if this Dukemon is more like how Omegamon acted in X-evolution.
I'm hoping that UlForceV-dramon gets an interesting voice. It's gonna be how I imagine Zero's voice.
