Why would I watch old anime when new anime is so much better?
>he hasn't realized Yuki is the superior girl yet
Cause some anime transcend time. They are what one would call classics. This one in particular defined a decade.
haruhi is a false god
Yuki best waifu
you are now aware theres no proof whether haruhi or kyon has the powers.
also yuki has the ability to erased both powers
She may have the abilities but she has literally no will of her own almost. Aside from the error in disappearance, she only does things when asked or ordered. Sure she does some minor things but anything to manipulate the current situation she does not. Yuki strictly only does OBSERVATIONS.
Koizumi on the other hand has a lot more pull on what happens around the brigade and what the brigade experiences. The organization has the strongest will and motive, stronger than even the time travelers which are limited in their ability to interfere.
because Zig Forums usually has shit taste so i avoid almost anything shilled here.
i've made the mistake of watching Evangelion before and i won't make that mistake twice.
I'd recommend Haruhi but not Evangelion though.
I did, and it was shit
alright, alright, what about the watching order then ?
if this is shit, that's the last time i'll ever watch anything recommended by Zig Forums
i watched it in the 2009 rebroadcast order with every event in the series being in chronological order. I think thats the best way to watch it
ok, i'll give it a go then.
The 2006 meme order adds nothing to the story. It wasn't like Durarara!! where the original LNs were written and the anime directed in an actual non-linear style, they just put the episodes in a different order (imagine watching Star Wars episodes in the order of 4 > 1 > 5 > 2 > 3 > 6).
Even the "better climax" excuse doesn't work anymore because they made the movie (which gets more praise than the series itself) and new episodes in 2009 (to cover important plot points for the movie).
If you thought Eva was shit I suggest you leave. Good shows can't cure terminal illnesses.
I love Haruhi
Broadcast order is the correct way.
Though since you are quite hesitant I suggest watching Episode 01 last in the broadcast order (Mikuru Asahina's Adventure)
So watch from it with ep2 first
The thing is the torrents you'll find are usually the chronological ones now.
Thankfully coalgirls seems to have an option to play it Achronological as intended

No. Broadcast order is the best way, read
KISS-KISS, FALL IN LOVE.
Looks like someone wants attention
why would Kyon not want the universe where Yuki is his gf I don't understand
This one seems to also have the Season 1 in the broadcast order and has better encodes

yeah the 26 episodes EVA is shit, more specifically, the 24 episodes are fine (but need huge nostalgia googles) and the last 2 are absolute dog shit.
and yeah, i've read all the stuffs about the ending, how to bee yourself, etc...
it's still shit, maybe you liked it but i didn't
ok, it's the broadcast order then
i'm watching in vostfr so there's only the broadcast order anyway
pity (you)
If someone tells me they're into anime, I usually ask them if they've seen Ghost in the Shell, Fullmetal Alchemist, Haruhi, or Lupin III. If they answer no, I then automatically assume they're into anime like MHA and Naruto.
Fullmetal alchemist is literally the same shit as naruto and mha, fuck off
>I'm a literal retard and couldn't tell you the difference between an Apple and a Cantaloupe if I tried
I watched it it's just not good.
Thanks for telling us you’re an idiot.
That wasn't even the right Yuki, though. It was a pathetic moeblob stand-in that acted nothing like the real thing.
>Brainlet can't figure out the last two episodes
Haruhi is definitely going to go over you. I bet you didn't even grasp that the last two happened at the same time as End of Evangelion.
>No. Broadcast order is the best way,
why? it truly doesn't add anything to the show and watching it in chronological order gives the episodes more context and allow for greater enjoyment
Don't lie to me, anons: do you watch every episode of Endless Eight during a rewatch?
Naisu. Aight keep us updated on your watch user, genuinely interested what the new generation of anime watchers think of Haruhi my favorite show of all time.
No need to think of the show as deep. It does tackle themes but they're there to enhance the experience rather than be the focus of it. Just enjoy some nice fun anime about a quirky girl and a band of 4 other members that seem to be extremely attracted to her and want to be near her.
If I'm rewatching it by myself, no. I pick which episodes I like the most.
If I'm showing someone the series, then yes, they need to suffer as I have suffered.
Simple. Because he's a man of refined taste.
Balances out the show and makes it go through a roller coaster ride of guesses, mystery, comfy slice of life, comedy and plot.
And it makes the "finale" scene of Season 1 all the more delicious and bombastic
You just know she's wearing a shit-eating grin.
Granted, neither could I, the first time I watched EVA. Watching EoE and rewatching EVA as a whole a few years ago gave me another perspective.
> I bet you didn't even grasp that the last two happened at the same time as End of Evangelion.
i mean, i haven't bothered watching EoE after the shitshow of the last two episodes, and i told you in my previous post, i've seen all the explanations and shit about the end, it's still bad, i get it you like EVA and you're on a big nostalgia trip, but it's not good for someone who's not affected by nostalgia.
there's a reason why EVA was almost never mentionned in French otaku circle and groups, because nobody likes it here.
