>evil maniac becomes a good guy
What's the most extreme case of this? Has anyone ever topped Orochimaru?
Evil maniac becomes a good guy
Kill yourself, narutard.
He didn't really become a good guy. He's just kinda hanging around.
It's been fucking years since I read it but I think I remember Byakuran from Katekyo Hitman Reborn going from multidimensional conqueror to sleepy dude who helps out the protag.
Zuko
That's also known as terrible writing.
>Powerful as fuck villain
>Turn him into a punching bag so Kishi can show how superior Itachi (self insert) is
I’ll never forgive him for this
We're talking about anime here, you western pig.
Orochimaru vs Itachi is probably the worst fight ever made by Kishi. SHIT writing at its finest.
The way Itachi humiliates Orochimaru with basic genjutsu, so easily, is nonsensical, retarded and makes no sense considering Oro was one of the most powerful ninjas alive
A realistic fight between Orochinaru and Itachi would include lots of jutsus and taijutsu and then, as a last resource technique, Itachi abusing his MS powers so much he almost gets blind.
At the end Oro would lose or drawn. But both of them would get trashed. That would explain why Oro needs to change bodies so often and why Itachi is blind and sick.
Zuko wasn't bad.
I never liked this fight either
Remember when Itachi said Jiraiya and him were the same level and if they got into a fight both of them would probably end up death?
Orochimaru is as powerful or more powerful than Jiraiya himself so he loosing to Itachi that hard doesn’t make sense
Hiei
The nine tailed fox turning from a crazy rampaging monster to Naruto's bro was bullshit too
Vegeta I think is the poster child.
more like azula's friends. who knows how many people these bitches murdered under azula's orders? they werent even her appointed soldiers/body guards
>but durr hurr muh emotional manipulation
I gotta go with Yamcha.
Frieza
He still hasn't fully transitioned to good guy.
He's a team rocket kind of antagonist presently. i.e. generally harmless but ostensibly aspiring to do harm
Pain is really the only villain where the "Talk no Jutsu" feels like it would actually have been able to work, and that's mainly because of the connection that Naruto and Pain have with them sharing the same master.
Naruto even invited him to his wedding.
Looks over his kid too. What a pal.
He's probably embarrassed about that one time he sperged out at him over sasuke yelling to "give him back"
Looking back, orochimaru was being pretty reasonable in that confrontation.
this scene is unironically kino
He’s literally the main protagonist at this point .
what's this?
This is dumb most of the time the clones shot at him before he even did anything (sometimes before he even knew they were there)and his power just reflected the attack back at them and yet no one gets mad at the clones for their part in the experiments.
He's beyond based and only brainlets ever considered him evil. He's edgy because of the abuse he himself went through and because he developed it as a coping mechanism but he's clearly a good guy. By far the best thing about the franchise.
>no one gets mad at the clones for their part in the experiments
They didn't really have a will of their own and I guess shooting at him isn't as morally questionable as ripping off limbs or popping people like a balloon or chewing their severed fingers like candy
You can’t make that shit up it is literally the WORST talk ninjutsu example in the whole series
>They didn't really have a will of their own
Yes they fucking did. Also if they had no will of their own then is there even a problem in killing them.
> as morally questionable as ripping off limbs or popping people like a balloon or chewing their severed fingers like candy
First of all he was told they had no emotions and were just basically just fleshy robots and the clones gave him every reason to believe this. Second of all he acted this way as a mix of the abuse he went through and trying to scare people away. So they would stop attacking him and getting themselves killed in the process. He checking for a reaction for the clones he was making sure they had no emotions or anything.
>Yamato has to work until he dies watching some pedo who put him in a tube as a kid.
God you think Naruto would be nice to the one guy who didn't fuck with him as a teacher.
But that entire series is literally full to the brim of "villains" who are just sad misunderstood redeemable guys/girls.
the fucking looney tunes had higher stakes than that garbage.
What a based villain
He became neutral because he solved his main obstacle to pursuing his real goal.
One of the newer light novels.
>Remember when Itachi said Jiraiya and him were the same level and if they got into a fight both of them would probably end up death?
Gee it’s like Itachi was lying or something. Orochimaru already admitted that Itachi was decisively stronger than him before that.
No one really beats Vegeta in terms of the complete turnaround from genocidal maniac to heroic family man. However, Orochimaru is still the most true to life example if you just consider an awful person picking the right side when it was in their best interest.
Did Hiei kill a lot of people? His sword turned people into zombies, but the antidote was in the sword, so it was whatever.
Remember that girl who tortured Touma for a billion years and is now his "understander"
faggot
ah. Pretty cool.
Are they translated?
Naruto peaked at this moment.
already did actually
I'm a ghost now
Impressive!

>Haku was going to be a bear, an actual animal before the editor gave us this kino
The Sasusaku one I think.
