The final storytime for Attack on Titan. With this thread, we catch up to where the series is currently at and we discuss what to expect in Chapter 129. This thread will contain the akraa releases for 127 and 128. Whether or not these two chapters are good, I'll leave it to you to decide, but they're undoubtedly a step up from 126.
In Volume 31, Mikasa went through a flashback of the SC trip to Marley via Hizuru. They walked around, ate ice cream, saved a Turkish kid, and discussed with Kiyomi their plans for announcing that the island of Paradis wants peace. Eren takes a breather outside and cries, alluding to the fact that he knew what he was gonna have to do. We get a scene of Eren asking Mikasa "what . . . am I to you?" The Turks interrupt and everyone has a drunken party. The SC attends a conference that confirms that peace with Paradis is impossible, and Eren goes missing, which leads into the beginning of Marley Arc. We cut to a near-biblical scene of Eren's megatitan and his army of Colossus titans marching towards Marley. Eren uses PATHS to give out an announcement to all Eldians - an announcement that he's going to rumble everything outside of Paradis. Connie takes Falco and makes his way towards his titan mom, with the intention of feeding Falco to her. The rest of the SC fights off the pure titans. Reiner goes into a coma. Gabi saves Kaya and meets up with Armin; they set off to save Falco. Annie is freed from her crystal and gives backstory to Hitch. Annie's dad incites a rebellion in Liberio. Hange + Punished Manlet find Magath and Pieck, and they ally to stop Eren. Jean is "recruited" by Floch. Mikasa takes her missing scarf back from a dying Louise. Armin attempts suicide and convinces Connie to join the alliance. Jean + Yelena + Boyega are taken by Pieck. Alliance now has Annie, AMJCHL, Magath, Pii, Yii, Boyega, Gabi, and Falco. They pick up Reiner, determined to save the world.
>Ghost Erwin burning his eyes into Hange's head >"But that's wrong, you dumb bitch."
Kevin Gomez
>Keep in mind that they fought for the freedom of humanity. And they also didn't know the truth of world, they thought that they were dying for the last of humanity but not really so i honestly think that at least Erwin wouldn't support if he knew the truth about eldia and marley
It is an intriguing concept - the genocide every country outside of yours, that is. Even with the reactions we saw in 124 - 126, I still have a hard time fully imagining how Paradisians would react to it.
I believe she was that pushy about it because she knew Jean was really on the fence about it. The alliance was short on time, and they needed all the help they could get.
>Is the kind of person who tries to commit mass murder really going to have you can that easily? i hate how no one in this conversation points out what a hypocrite bitch Annie and the warriors are.
Samuel Ward
Crap, I wanted to read the other arcs since I started with Return to Shiganshina, but looks like the threads aren't in the archive anymore.
If Mikasa hadn't immediately chosen stopping Eren do you think Jean would have?
Dominic Cruz
Yelena is extremely based here.
Noah Davis
Levelheaded reason loses to emotion.
Hudson Powell
Some definitely would have. Either way it's wrong to speak for them to prove one's point. They died for a world and cause much smaller than what actually existed.
Hudson Thomas
I doubt it, but I don't think that was what ultimately tipped him over to Hange's side. I think Hange bringing up the Survey Corps caused Jean to remember why he joined the corps in the first place, and that's what made him decide to ally. You can see this towards the end of 126, when he does a callback to the burnpile scene from Volume 4.
Most people in that scene where trying to kill each other like yesterday and now they are working together, yet talking to Eren is somehow an impossible endeavor.
Owen Roberts
>Marco >no Sasha That hack piece of shit
Gavin Rivera
Marco is essentially the reason why he joined the SC in the first place.
>Storytime ends just in time for new Anime studio revelation, PV and S4 poster. I knew there was something fishy going on with the timing of these threads
Gavin Jones
Whether that's true or not he must regret choosing guilt over sense.
>gets told in detail how the soul reason he joined the corps was murdered by the two people directly infront of him >his only reaction is "Thats it! We should play nice!" Its even more retarded when I re read it
Hunter Baker
They're working together to stop Eren from killing everyone outside of Paradis, it's not like they're buddies now and Eren is (from what we seen) impossible to convince, he doesn't see any choice other than the genocide.
>Do you think the SC would support Eren's genocide? Keep in mind that they fought for the freedom of humanity.
Never, they fought for Paradisians, is just that they called themselves humanity.
Wyatt Young
Nevermind I forgot about this part
Ayden Baker
Truthfully, I started doing these threads to hold myself over til the next chapter / S4 news, so it all worked out nicely. I've got some other neat stuff to dump this thread after 128, so look forward to it.
