Zig Forums is a fan of Naruto and it's safe to say that it's one of the worst shounens out there.
Naruto is an anime about hard-work with some mindless fun, battles and all of that. Though, Naruto's underlying message is that by working hard you can become someone in life - in Naruto's case, it's Hokage.
Naruto is shown as this underdog character who everyone looks down on in Konoha. We get to see Naruto's inner struggles and how hard it is for him to communicate with other people. We get to see that he's trying his best to become Hokage. That much I get. What I don't get is the fact that they make Naruto this nine-tailed dog eating fox type of motherfucker who is the son of the 4th Hokage. His father, the 4th Hokage, was trained by legendary Saiyan, whom was trained by 1st and 2nd Hokage.
Aside from his tailed jinchuuriki abilities, he's one of the most stupid characters in the show. He literally does not learn from his previous mistakes.
The one thing the shows manages to fuck up even more with retarded shit is the Hyuuga clan. Supposedly, Hyuuga clan is branched. Neji's father has a twin brother. A motherfucking twin brother. For some reason, Masashi Kishimoto felt the need to branch that clan. What follows in the Chunin Exams is the uttermost retarded garbage one could ever be witness to. Neji's uncle doesn't believe in Neji, despite them having the same fucking blood. He says that Neji's branch are weaklings. However, does he not realize how stupid that is? They're closely related by blood.
Hyuuga shenanigans are one thing - stupid.
Inconsistent abilities and eye powers that make people Gods? Yeah, that's another thing. Sharingan is way too overpowered and by the time they introduce Rinnegan (which is supposedly even more powerful), the characters are already demigods.
Masashi Kishimoto fucking sucks. All you narutards need to realize that.
Yeah, everyone knows naruto is the worst thing about naruto

>human condition So, having a 9-tailed beast inside of you, is somehow an exploration of the human condition? Why yes, I totally see your point.
Adrian Morgan
Zig Forums isn't a fan, retard. It's banned for years and only after being forced now begrudgingly tolerate after what a proven shit writer like Kishimoto did to it. Tons of anons even used to read it and now range from bitter to outright hatred over the way other more interesting characters became irrelevant for an utter dogshit final "war" arc ridden with power level shit and discarding strategy entirely.
Christopher Hernandez
>discarding strategy Implying there was any strategy in Naruto in the first place.
Nathan Cooper
The fights had some strategy up to konoha crush, nothing too spectacular but it was there
Cameron Williams
haha i go brrrr
Nathan Martin
This is the biggest example of a strawman I think I have ever seen.

>he hates naruto get out, if you don't "believe it" then you don't belong on Zig Forums.
>Zig Forums is a fan of Naruto and it's safe to say that it's one of the worst shounens out there.
Stopped reading there, it is bad, but still better than 90% of all shounen
John Green
First post worst post lol
Landon Brooks
Naruto is unironically one of the greatest series ever made and only gets hate because of how popular and main stream it is.
the chunin exams were awesome I loved every moment of them.
The sharigon was really good too and I enjoyed how powerful it was. It was badass.
Kishimoto is one of the greatest mangakas of all time.
Carson Brooks
it should have never been banned from Zig Forums. It's really good.
Luis Bell
>it's one of the worst shounens out there you clearly don't watch enough shounen to be saying that
Cameron Sanchez
there was. A lot of characters used strategy.
Juan Thompson
there was strategy in fights after that as well.
Angel Edwards
it's not bad
Robert Carter
How can it be bad if it has characters which are literally me?
Mason Brown
i've always seen myself as Shikamaru. I can relate so much to him. He was literally me in school. Super smart, probably the smartest in my grade, but I was just too lazy to try.
Luis Torres
even before the naruto spam people kept saying "it was good before shippuden/pain arc" lmao it was still garbage >Kakashi thinks they're ready for the Chunnin exams after one big mission >Leaf village shilling in chunnin exams and most of them are rookies >Naruto hardwork speech against Neji rendered bullshit because of his foxhack, way before the reincarnation stuff was a thing >Power levels bullshit by the time of the naruto vs gaara fight >Naruto getting another sensei/father figure even though he has kakashi and Iruka >Sakura being the main heroine despite being absolutely fucking useless. >Somehow every single jonin and chunnin cant help naruto shikamaru and the rest chase after sasuke >Team7 only acted as a full team for the bell test and zabuza arc, and you expect me to believe they're a close knit group of friends? Forest of death atleast had the main trio together. Naruto was always bad. Shippuden just made things somehow worse in retrospect, like itachi being a good guy despite being a evil psychopath in part1.
Levi Morgan
People who self insert as Shikamaru always come off as super cringey and oblivious.
Eli Price
It was never banned retard
Tyler Ramirez
Naruto was always good
They fought against Zabuza and Haku. That's pretty impressive. they were some amazing rookies. He still had to train hard to master stuff like the rasenshuriken and sage mode. And rasengon. He did work hard fuck you. Sakura wasn't useless she did useful stuff throughout the series. they were busy on other missions and defending the village after it was recently attacked they bonded more than you give them credit for Naruto was always good and I loved Shippuden and enjoyed the fact that Itachi was actually good all along. I hate bad guys but when I found out Itachi was actually a good guy I liked him and he's now my 3rd favorite character.
Christopher Long
You are a complete fucking idiot. Believe it.

>Naruto is an anime about hard-work No it isn't. >Though, Naruto's underlying message is that by working hard you can become someone in life - in Naruto's case, it's Hokage. No, it's through enduring and making connections that you can achieve your dream, that's the message. >What I don't get is the fact that they make Naruto this nine-tailed dog eating fox type of motherfucker who is the son of the 4th Hokage. His father, the 4th Hokage, was trained by legendary Saiyan, whom was trained by 1st and 2nd Hokage. The fox continually tries to kill him or taunt him into breaking the seal until Naruto forms a connection with it (see; the theme of the series). Also, Naruto inherited jackshit from the Fourth Hokage. >that Hyuga shit This is literally ripped straight from the Plague of Gripes video. >Neji's uncle doesn't believe in Neji, despite them having the same fucking blood. He says that Neji's branch are weaklings. That is never stated in the manga. In fact, the side branch being weaker than the main branch is something Neji says, and he's meant to be a hypocrite in regards to that, another theme of the show is pointing out hypocrisy in its antagonists. >the rest of your post lol don't care Rule of cool > powerlevel fags.
Logan Russell
how so? Idk what to tell you user. Shikamaru is literally me lol I relate to him so much being smarter than all the idiots around you but you're just too lazy to actually try so you don't.
Hunter Diaz
I really don't care about your delusions. Naruto is a good story. It uses a protagonist with clear flaws and goals to get its feet and then transitions into a narrative which effectively elucidates the nature of cyclical conflict. Kishimoto's been accused of just giving all his villains sad backstories, which is true to an extent, but the point is that there is no one who's just "evil". In Naruto, today's conflict was caused by yesterday's generation, and that generation's conflicts were caused by the previous generation, but they are not blamed. They simply have to acknowledge their responsibility and work to ensure their mistakes are not repeated.
My favorite arc was the Pain arc. The way it resolved Naruto's greatest plotline about love conquering over war, by demonstrating it, and subsequently the fruits of peace when Pain used his (plot-backed) Rikudo Rebirth jutsu to revive the village that he had just assaulted; which Naruto still remembers when Obito uses it and is why he doesn't try to stop Madara with Sasuke (that's what you call A-Grade detail). It all came together perfectly.
I especially like how it comes right after the Shikamaru Revenge and Sasuke-Itachi arcs, to kind of contrast how Naruto is different from other ninjas. I like how at the very beginning Naruto's the same. I like how their first mission took them to a country where ninjas don't exist because the ocean offers natural protection. I like how Shikamaru's dad's death and the Chakra Tree happen exactly 400 chapters from the moment when he and him are playing chess and he tells Shikamaru he will one day learn who the "King" is.
Your favorite author couldn't out-write Kishi if he had a lifetime to do it. Believe it.
>I'm so smart >I just don't succeed because I'm lazy >everyone around me is so stupid The superiority complex is probably what does it. You're either still in HS or haven't entered the real world and haven't come to the realization that you're not as smart as you think you are.
Grayson Reyes
Yes, it was, you retarded newfaggot. Threads literally used to get spammed and deleted because of cancer and how bad it was.
god damn I wish I had this picture last night. Some user in a thread last night was complaining about "show don't tell" and how Kishimoto writes stuff too much dialogue and doesn't let the pictures tell the story enough.
