Ok, so this has been bothering me for a while. Why the hell does Naruto seem so much more burdened with overwork than the other Hokage’s when he’s overseeing an age of peace, can make any number of clones, and has arguably the most capable assistant ever in Shikimaru assisting him?

I mean, 3rd had the free time to visit ninja kindergarten whenever he pleased meanwhile Naruto can’t ever seem to leave his office for 2 fucking seconds.

It’s called shitty and melodramatic writing. Naruto could make thousands of clones BEFORE he got 2 massive chakra boosts. There is no reason he can’t have 20 clones doing paper work, 10 clones in meetings, a few dozen clones training the military, a few hundred clones patrolling the borders/going on diplomatic missions, a dozen clones hanging out with friends, a few clones playing with his kids, and still have 10+ clones running a train on Hinata. Literally no reason at all.

It’s shit writing because they had to give his kid some shitty reason to have conflict when it logically shouldn’t be there.

it's not like he's doing a couple pieces of paper. He's doing thousands with little to no sleep. So the first couple papers yeah no big deal. Fast forward 23 hours later with no sleep and yeah he's fucking tired alright?

He was fighting multiple battles against kage level opponents with just his clones for like 3 fucking days straight back in the war. There is literally nothing that should give him that level of challenge. You’re already having to handwave in bullshit villains popping up out of nowhere just for him to have a remote challenge. That’s exactly what is needed to even justify an eventual defeat, that Naruto was at like half capacity from being stretched so much so the bad guy actually stood a chance.

What we have now is Naruto not spamming clones to trivialize his work, and still struggling against literal who’s even though he is one of the absolute strongest ninja to ever fucking exist. It’s stupid. We literally say Naruto put in thousands of times more work when he was 16
