I have some objections to the show, although I honestly didn't care about her purity status or whatever.
I only read the combo volume but I thought these characters really lacks the "pathology" of otakus. They all seen to be beautiful, successful and socially well adjusted people. There is a reason there is a stigma associated with otakues, but these people doesn't seen to have any of these problems, so it just come across to me as being false. Its like regular geeky fandom but otakuism is being used as an motif, but not its content, which is kind of weird because you gotta be an otaku of some sort to actually draw a manga, so I thought it should be something an author would understand. I don't know if later volumes gets better at this respect or not but I personally decided not to keep it up because it seem to be generally too vanilla but not as funny as Nozaki kun.
