5/7 kinda all over the place. I guess that makes your taste varied but also not really my thing. dropped hyouka out of boredom and annoying characters and HxH 2011 due to how dull it looked mainly. really enjoying kaguya sama

7/8 akagi was insufferable due to it's protagonist. also the reason why I esitate to check out one outs since he has the same kind a protagonist and is a show about baseball to top it off. nhk gets a point out of charm and several great and endearing moments despite major flaws. aoi bungaku gets a point despite /being very hit or miss because at least it made me curious about the novels, which I guess was the objective

11/13 looks like a very safe, very boring grid, the kind you would get by googling best anime movies. still they are all very good movies, aside for grave of the fireflies which was borderline irritating, and jin ro which was a painfully uninteresting snorefest

8/9 baccano had a neat premise and some great characters, but was overall needlessly messy and squandered my investment. haven't seen much of gintama but I thoroughly enjoyed what I've seen so far

8/8 although I did not care enough about 3gatsu and oregairu to get past their first seasons. I should probably check out at least 3gatsu. nichijou humor ranged from amusing to annoying and some characters were downright unlikeable, but the professor household is enough for me to have fond memories of it

7/7 although brigadoon was kinda all over the place and rahxephon was an incredibly well crafted borefest. I like hyouge mono but honestly sasuke carries the whole show

monogatari's overt fanservice can put off as many people as it turns on, the dialogues can be really obnoxious, and season one is by far the weakest, so I can see why that would be the case. had I not decided to check out nise i too would not hold monogatari in very high regard

I know and I have really tried branching out to more obscure stuff but really when it comes to anime films the popular anime films know for being the best are really the finest anime has to offer imo.

Which is in contrast to live action cinema where you could claim that more obscure filmmakers have films on par with kubrick or Hitchcock .
