I don't think he's really all that great honestly, but I liked him for some of the more entertaining exchanges he has throughout the season, and yeah he is a little annoying at first. Especially later there's another fairy that Mepple hates and their interactions are what won me over to team Mepple.

Honestly though, none of the fairies from the first couple of seasons stand out really in any kind of way for the most part other than sometimes being really annoying. Their designs are very bland, but not just visually. I thought it was so bad that It almost seemed like some sort of sarcastic jab at the concept itself from character designers to me when I started watching the franchise. Almost like they were forced to create mascot characters that they didn't want to or something.
