my first job when i started at 16 i worked at a movie theater and it was awful. customers were bad, management was horrible, the pay was literally .25¢ above FEDERAL minimum wage. to make matters worse is that i worked there for two years and i hated every bit of it. meanwhile during those two years i’d go on several different interviews and literally none of them would call me back (i’m talking basic entry level jobs) and if they did it was to inform me that i didn’t fit their requirements because i was 17/18 years old who’s only experience is working in a shitty local theater chain.

19 y/o babby reporting in. all of my friends who are in school have all been complaining about the same thing asking themselves/me if there’s even a point in going to school anymore. me personally i haven’t gone to college but i do think it’s good to get into if you’re able to afford it, but me personally i will never force myself into debt for a degree. That’s probably my biggest fear is being in debt seeing how it has affected my family
