Bro wow 2 years and only 2 companies? I’d love to have that kind of job security I’ve had 5 in the same period.

4 years then I quit, im currently a neet surviving off $20k savings dont know what to do after it runs out

>1 year 10 months

Got hired for a programming job I was unqualified for, bought link with money from that, not a make it stack, but more than a suicide stack. The end of this job looks near, but I'm saving money for that haha.

What do you do user? I work in IT and have had 4 companies in ten years (not counting contract changes).

nigga what are you, 15?
Ive been slaving for over 20 years, started a paper route at 13 years old

going on 4 years, at the first company that hired me out of college. i have averaged 1 promotion/pay raise per year thus far

now i have a cush low stakes job and i make enough money for my simple lifestyle + savings (not lots of money by any means, but enough). my coworkers and boss and customers like me. i do something relatively technical so nobody really pays attention to how little i work.

I am 29
I have had a job since 15
Many many companies. Cant list them all.
One day my cryptos might release me from wagie

10 years. It was getting tough. Thank god for Corona. My life is a dream now. I have not been so relaxed in so many years. Corona is a gift from god. I may get to work from home forever now. Praise the lord and praise Corona. My life is so awesome now.

26, Army for 3 years, college for 3 now in Healthcare IT.

Let's see, I have been in the workforce since 2011--guess that makes it roughly 9 years.

Since then, I have worked at 11 different companies. All of which sucked except for the 11th which I still work at. With 3 years at this company, I can say it is the longest job I have ever held. It's extremely flexible and on most days I don't do any work, I just come in to clock in and sit around on the computer, like I'm doing right now.

Are you paid well?

I am an accountant.

I am 28 and I have worked less than a year in total.

I have 500 Link though so I guess it's okay.

fuck no lol

2 and a half here. On my way to working for Tesla.
Plan is to grind Chainlink with my Tesla paycheck and quit when I've finally made it.

26, 8 fuckin years already in construction. Im done with this shit, link will be my ticket out.

How's IT? I'm just a front desk bitch at a hotel but I'm looking to get into IT because it actually has some level of progression and it interests me. Right now working in getting an A+ cert then grinding for a few years at help desk before moving up

Wanna switch jobs so bad but can't find a better job with this pandemic shite

On and off the last 7 years. Got a masters degree in between and had several months long stints of unemployment that I hide on my resume.

College did virtually nothing for me. Fortunately my job pays a high wage and though its seasonal, I'm able to save the majority of my income.

Engineering or IT?

Psych nurse for 7 months. I hand out meds to mentally ill neets. It's not a bad career

11 years, I'm 26 and have had 7 jobs, been in current job for 7 years

I've been wageslaving at a grocery store for 13 years. Most people are repulsed when they hear that, but it's easy work and 2 minutes away from my house. I've managed to save up 80k in cash and 20k and crypto but there is no easy way out for a wageslave.

It's pretty bank desu. I make 130k overseas right now, with a part time hussle making about 20k more working 10 hours or so a week remotely.

My suggestion, find a niche and stick with it, I was fortunate enough to get into SharePoint Server at the perfect time and have been riding smooth every since. Also, Get your Security+ not your A+

Thanks nurse fren, those meds saved my life.

5 years of experience in InfoSec. Super cosy. Recruiters constantly harass me with job offers on LinkedIn.

Youre doing it right. Trust me your life is a lot better than someone that works for IT in SF and commutes 3+ hours a day.

I'm sure it hurts seeing people feel bad for you when you talk about your job but making a good living isn't about impressing others.

Thanks for the advice. Officially I have no prior job experience in IT so I was wondering if A+ would make me marketable and survive initial HR filters. Security+ was definitely in my sights though because I already have a secret clearance and want to work for a DoD contractor

Year and 3 months consecutively

2 years left of Finance degree

Bought Civic, have 5k saved up, just paying phone and insurance right now

Hard worker manager loves me. Currently taking a month off to hike mountains and shit. Life is really fucking good bros, can’t wait for salary position so I can save towards a home.

11 years... glad I got into a trade then a good union. 100k plus overtime . No keeiids yet. Can’t wait to make it

Fuck man I'm working on getting into InfoSec from a data analytics background. Any tips? Currently practice exploits on my own AD server, hackthebox, watch udemy videos. Also studying for my Sec+ because I want a .gov job

okay, if you already have a clearance, I wouldn't even look at A+. Security plus makes you 8570 compliant, and will thus give you 20k more a year then commercial side coming in.

Companies get a boner for people like you - no experience but cleared, they'll pay you peanuts, but it will still be more than what you would make doing tech support for comcast.

I've been on both sides of the interviewing table, and Security+ gets brought up everytime. I havent heard A+ mentioned anywhere since 2009 desu don't waste the shekels
