>i am a pussy and only make fun of other peoples opinion while not stating my own

Should've given SnK to Doga Kobo

Beserk got trash too.

What is the point of this image kek

I don't get it.

Late SnK is far better than what Berserk has been for 20 years. OPM is just a meme taken too far.

Production commities (the guys that decide which studio will contracted) are most intrested into how marketable the franchise is, some have a giant amount of autistic waifu-fags like Fate, some sell a bunch of toys and games, and have great name-recognition like SnK. Other series are just deemed not worth the investment.

I personally believe that SnK should have failed the moment titan shifting was revealed in Trost, with Eren simultaneously being revived. That generic shitty twist would have been enough to kill off most other manga, but god damn Isayama brought it back and made everything worthwhile. It's just gotten better and better since then. Only now in the final moments is he starting to falter, and I really hope he can still deliver.

It's not really a failed series if only the ending sucks.

Berserk anime output just matches the hiatus of the manga

>the ending sucks
To be fair, manga are not supposed to end and mostly get popular on the virtues of the beginning. Some even wont get an ending period, like HunterxHunter and beserk unless their makers become immortal.

>NOOOO YOU CAN'T HAVE MORAL OR LIGHTHEARTED MOMENTS IN MUH NAZI GENOCIDE MANGA AAAAAAH

Is it possible that if the worst case scenario happens and Isayama makes the shittiest cringvengers ending possible, that Mappa would make an Anime only ending that's better?

When are you going to stop whining about this?

Yeah, it really sucks. Most manga don't get much attention at all, when one does it quickly puts the mangaka under a ton of pressure, the workload is extreme and makes long-term planning difficult, you have to constantly deal with polls/critcism/editors influencing your story on the go, and you are encouraged to drag it out as long as possible because you might never get another story as successful as it. It's rare for a popular manga to be properly and thoroughly planned beforehand. SnK is actually above average in that respect, and FMAB is probably one of the best examples.

Have you seen how far the PV goes? It's too late.

Yeah, but in this case Isayama could have just ended it with the Rumbling happening and it would still be a much better ending then what we're likely getting since it would at least be a much more morally gray ending than what we usually get, and would resolve the conflict.

I know it showed Ymir, but I don't remember seeing anything post chapter 123.

It would be very bittersweet and fake, also too rushed. I don't mind the studio change as much as others, but them changing the music is probably going to ruin the whole thing for me. If they changed the ending on top of that even if the manga ending does suck, I wouldn't be able to take it seriously.

I still have hope for the music, they at least have the usual composer still working on it as a cocomposer.

The genocide is happening dumbass

what is the point of even having this final season when the manga isnt over? isnt it just going to have some shit anime-original ending

because the manga ends this year, dumbass

I've heard that he's just being credited because they will (probably) use some of his old music (or remixes of it) in the new season, especially in flashbacks. Some say that the new guy Yamamoto often works on series after Sawano leaves them, and that Sawano has other projects he will be busy on. I can't get it confirmed either way.

Isa has still enough time to finish it.

It`s the same case as with FMAB, anime and manga were ending around the same time

how many episodes would actually be needed to cover whats left without rushing everything? 50?

Manga will end either this year or in February next year. We don't have that much left

s4 is going to almost guaranteed be a split two parter like s3 with several months between them

I think 34 could be enough

Those are legimitately horrible pages that heavily contributed to making the final arc abysmal, why do anons defend this? I genuinely don't understand

The normal pace is 2 chapters per episode since season 3.
