I mean it was a charming and cute little show, but it's not something I'd think would be wildly popular.

Charming cute show that should have had the finale be episode 8 instead. 10/10 episode.

you could call it... timeflop

I hate using the term, but it's unironically this

Sold pretty ok from what I remember

I really liked the intro.

It was one of the most popular shows last season at least in Japan. It wasn’t just remarkable enough or had enough waifubait or mindless fighting to be talked about after it finished airing here in Zig Forums

There is literally nothing left to discuss, the manga is still untranslated and will probably be until the official translation comes out. Also the discussions on this board were pure shit even back when it aired, it was just shitposting. No wonder nobody wants to discuss it anymore

It's still pretty popular (in Japan) though, the manga just sold like 900,000 copies because of the popularity boost it got from the anime.

AOTS that season

Good concept, art, animation, character design and VA but the absolute lack of meaningful character development and expanded worldbuilding made me not care about it after watching it once.

It's incorrect, time flops were at least popular once.

Post some good Kanamoris

I'M GOING TO SAY THE T-WORD

It did pretty well, but the Blu ray release has been pushed back due to Chinaman flu. S2 is being considered IIRC. Also, Kanamori a best.

it was fairly popular though, timeflop is still a retarded buzzword, not everything must have daily threads full of shitposting

I hope the BD sells well, then we'll maybe get a season 2. I think Yuasa himself said he's open about a second season

I missed this.

Name a single show in the last 5 years that gets regular threads several month after finishing, and which threads aren't just waifu circlejerk and/or shitposting.

Pro-tip: you can't.

Yeah, it really slaps

I never thought I would see this again

Anons literally just watched it because they were Yuasa dicksuckers

Wasted trips, and objectively incorrect. I hadn't even heard of the man before I started watching Eizouken.

Manga spoilers: Asakusa gets fucking killed

My flaming hot take: the ED was better. (Or at least it had better music.)

youtube.com/watch?v=i2TnlfmzS2I

I have to agree, the ED is really underrated.

Yeah desu I was pretty underwhelmed by the ending.

It was good. The ending was lackluster though.

The most reddit anime I've ever seen, I'm glad Zig Forums didn't fall for this shit.

I recently read the manga and it's even more lackluster there. That whole "No money off of club activities" conflict was just that one teacher conversation and then it was resolved, nothing more like in the anime with the SNS stuff . That whole storyline with the messed up sound at the end was also anime original. I was actually surprised at how much of the story was anime original

Just waiting for season 2
