Agni and Judah meet again in space, they are so happy to be together that allow themselves to finally die, after a millennia of suffering.
In the afterlife Agni and Luna are reunited.

That's not what I mean. What's with the weird nihilist ending where nothing mattered since the world just gets blown up or whatever

The ending was amazing.

>nihilist ending where nothing mattered since the world just gets blown up or whatever
That ending wasn't nihilist at all. Earth getting destroyed some thousand of years after Judah left wasn't important, the important thing is that she kept playing her role and that allowed her to meet Agni again.
Love is proven stronger than both time and space because the author is a very romantic person

What was the author getting at though? Why did Agni need to keep living? To just see it through to the end?

puño de fuego
cine ...

Nihilism is the belief that life is inherently meaningless, which is in stark opposition of the story and its ending. Are you for real?

>The fuck was that ending?
Too good for you.

I didn't like the romance between Judah and Agni. It didn't feel genuine to me. Agni didn't like Judah for Judah, he just liked her because she looked like his sister.

Don't you get tired of posting this same thread?

Now you feel what every immortal character in this manga felt.

Thought it was Judah in the afterlife.

they finally got to watch star wars

You didn’t understand because it was

If you repeat a lie enough times, it becomes the truth. If you wear a mask long enough, you become that mask. Or something like that, I can never remember the quote. The point is, his love was genuine even if this inexplicable exact copy of his sister isn't really her. In return, her love was genuine as well. They could easily have been long lost siblings, except with amnesia on her part. How would you call a love that transcends millennia and space if not genuine and pure?

This seems apropiate to your answer.

Is that the message? That life is just living a lie or a role? Going with the flow?
Because in the end, Agni just seemed like a madman to me

No, he's finally free to live his life without assuming a predetermined role at the end. He is Agni or San, and she is Judah or Luna. It doesn't matter anymore. All need to pretend has disappeared.

The message it's the weight of inmortality on a mortal mind and how across the millenia one than that has lived long enough has been on every position and scale of the myriad of the human experience. So if you have been the every everyman, are you even you?
Doesn't death sounds like a sweet, sweet embrance to strive for?

I just finished this today. Gotta say I really liked the whole religion commentary, the cinema metaphor, the whole hero-villan thing, the characters, it was all very engaging, 10/10 entertainment value.

What I didn't like was the Judah situation after she got amnesia and she became replacent baby sister Luna. Like wtf is this living meme of a main character doing? Their whole relationship was so goofy and I can't take it seriously. And the fact that it ended with their relationship being so important is underwealming.

The point was that he could have chosen to die in chapter 1 and be happy in the great movie theater up in the sky, but he decided to suffer for millenia for a community of retards who eventually got themselves killed over nothing anyway. But I guess love will find a way or something. Surprise, you were reading a romance manga all along.

He didn't, he just did because he felt he had to.

>Like wtf is this living meme of a main character doing?
His best. It just so happens that him trying his best just make life worse for himself and everyone around him

Pure Kino.

Kek. You must be 18. Tops.

>Sun and Luna
Yea it was pretty terrible. The space shit came completely out of left field

So did they die instantly as soon as they met each other?
