Shippuden is so lame. The whole point of naruto was that naruto was an underpowered retard who everyone made fun of so it was that much more rewarding the few times he actually defeated people. Everyone in shippuden just sucked him off left and right. The second everyone started deepthroating him was the moment I lost interest. You literally have no reason to root for him anymore. It was way more interesting seeing him take on the weak mini bosses like gaara than when he became a literal God that took out 12 trillion power level villains. And the sasuke shit is just ridiculous. The dude literally tried to kill naruto multiple times without any remorse and naruto STILL thought he was his friend. Theres just some things you cant fucking come back from.

In part 1 naruto wasnt even the strongest genin. Rock Lee had to save his ass against Kimimaro and sasuke beat narutos ass even with narutos plot armor. And that was when he was at his strongest in part 1.

This. The moment Konoha’s slaughtered population was revived and they started tossing Naruto up in the air should have been the beginning of a series wrap up. Instead Kishimoto escalated things well past the point of plausibility and we got ... that shoddy af war arc. Don’t get me wrong, it had its ups (few) and it’s downs (too many to count) but it did nothing except flush the preestablished story down the toilet.

By the end of part 1 Naruto was already on par with most Jonin the only thing that held him back was the fact that he is a fucking idiot unable to control the massive ass amounts of chakra he had.
Kimimaru is an outlier who required Gaara and Lee to fight and only lost because he happened to die at the last second.

If we got to Part 2, and everything reset and Shikamaru was back to saying "Why don't you just die already?" like back in his introduction, that would be awful progression.
Also, Naruto doesn't seek vengeance on Sasuke or give up on his goal of saving him because that's not his ninja way.
The reason why the series continued past that is because a valid point is brought up.
Naruto has never experienced the pain of war, which is what caused Pain (and by extension, Tobi and Madara) to become the way they are.
It's a key factor of the arc that Obito wants to see Naruto fall into a depression and become like him to justify how he turned out, and when Naruto doesn't (thanks to his friends), it proves to Obito he was wrong subliminally.

i hate naruto as a character. he is admirable in his resolve and overall will to succeed but other than that he is an annoying brat. He is a poorly written character.
sasuke is a bit cooler but he is too emo in the beginning and is a blatant rip off of another anime character. Also the sharingan is too ridiculous. Being able to have instant genjutsu via eye contact is a bullshit but believable power as well as enhanced visual perception. But shooting inextinguishable black flames that are hotter than the sun's surface from your eyeballs? That is pure retardation. Why can't amaterasu just be some S rank secret fire style justsu? all of the mangekyo sharingan's abilities are retarded except tsukuyomi which in it of itself is already bullshit.
