Hey Zig Forums, are you looking forward to edgy Kemono Friends anime?
Arknights

So is this like Fate but not complete shit and with more tomboys?
we need to stop making gacha anime
This is a chinese video game.
This board is for japanese cartoons and comic books.
It's nothing like Fate. Way more down to earth and writing isn't trash. Also far less fapbait.
Maybe after they stop making billions. So never.
It's getting anime produced in Japan just like Azur Lane.
Gacha anime would never take over because to have an adaptation, you must fist be successful. If you are a successful gacha, chances are you are already making more profit than the average anime.
It isn't like the LN cancer where anyone can just throw mud and figure out which one sticks. Gacha is a huge investment and huge risk with a fiercer competition. As such, it would never really take over anime unlike the VN adaptations of the 2000's and LNs of 2010's to today
Every big gacha is getting anime. Plenty of smaller ones get them too.
No it isn't. Stop making shit up to justify your off-topic posts.
But gatcha adaptations is the best thing that happened to anime recently.
Arknights is unironically a fun game if you like tower defence and long term grinding, but its story is pretty bad, so no, I wouldn't look forward to an anime. Apple pie is cute though.
Really?
How many?
Azure Lane
GrandBlue
Fate
Kancolle
And?
Girl Friend BETA?
Kemono Friends was supposed to be an add for the gacha but it closed before the anime aired
Uma Musume game never came out years after the anime aired
You listed all big gacha in Japan. You also have shows like ZX, Ange Vierge, Kotobuki, Toji no Miko, Last Period, Princess Connect, Magireco, Revue Starlight, Show By Rock, Sora to Umi and I'm sure more I forgot.
It 100% is and you know it. They just had a short by A-1.
It's the next trend after isekai
I see. Still, that's just a dozen titles in 5 years.
There are 50 anime airing every season. 10% of which are LN adaptations.
Yuuki Yuuna, Rage of Bahamut, Battle Girl High School, Shadowverse, Re Stage, BanG Dream, Princess Principal.
>chinks shit again
Yawwwwwwwn.
Revue Starlight and Kotobuki anime came out first.
Yuuki Yuuna and Princess Principal were anime originals then the game came out
Bang Dream started as a manga
Idolish 7, Sword Boys, Chain Chronicle, A3, Monster Strike, Shironeko, Cinderella 9, Sengoku Night Blood, Zettai Bouei Leviathan, Divine Gate, Grimms Notes, Cerberus, Million Arthur, Pastel Memories.
They were adverts for the game.
Multi-franchise actually
There are hundreds of video games (and manga, novels, and other products) with animated PVs that never get proper animated adaptations.
Kill yourself you delusional retard
This is one of the biggest gacha games ever, it's getting anime no matter how much you hate it. Same company already had anime adaptations and just opened a studio in Japan specifically to make more Azur Lane and Arknights anime in the future.
If not for Covid we would probably already have airing date.
Well until they actually announce an anime, or even imply they may create one, these threads do no belong on Zig Forums.
The Chinese gacha game philosophy seems to be to take every other popular game on the market at the moment, put them in a blender, and leave the lid off. Everything's just an overdesigned mess with no cohesion, a grimdark story that makes no sense, and often tasteless levels of fanservice. The anime adaptations never seem to have a purpose beyond selling codes to the people who already play the game. And all people ever talk about is how much money it's making, as if they're the ones profiting. If I wanted Kemono Friends, I would just go back and watch Kemono Friends, which was as good as it was because it was made to advertise a game that no longer existed.
Arknights is unironically good though. Both as a game and story. Setting is actually one of the best I saw in years.
This.
Kemono Friends was a classic.
Gacha was a failure so they gave it to the poorest studio they could find.
No one's hoping for anything and thus gave them unlimited freedom.
It became the single biggest underdog story in anime history
The shitshow that followed ensured that it would be written in history of anime and a harrowing lesson of what not to do. Kadokawa lost 26% of profit and CEO resigned.
I have never seen a gacha with good story especially chinkshit.
I am going to call you bs
