This is the only correct answer and you know it
Precure thread
What have you guys been watching during the hiatus? Did you start a new Precure series you hadn't watched yet or fallen back in rewatching an old favorite?
stop that
been very intermittently watching Yes 5
really should get back to watching more episodes, I keep getting sidetracked with other shit
At my current rate I should be starting Yes 5 in about 10 days. Hope it's good.
I've been liking it quite a bit.
I hope you're prepared for how fucking terrible Coco and Nuts's voices are. You get used to them, but they're bad.
They're not bad.
I'm watching Kamen Rider wizard, took a little break from FW
I always hear people complain about their voices but it never really bothered me while watching Yes5. I mean yeah they're high pitched squealing but so are most fairies.
>Wizard
I'm so sorry.
I think fairies kind of start out annoying but they grow on you. Been my experience at least.
I suppose having a good OP was too much trouble, huh?
I'm on Fresh but I haven't been able to watch it the past few days.
I finished all of Heisei phase 1, so now I'm watching Decade.
High altitude fire punches exchange
It's like my shonen animes. Wasn't expecting a serious episode after the Cinderella shenanigans. .
Brian confirmed to only seeing Akane as a friend and being more interested on Japan than her. Miyuki can't make arts and crafts for shit.
That last stretch of focus episodes in Smile are pretty intense from what I remember.
Lala...
Nao's family episode
Watched Fresh and Splash Star.
Currently watching Yes! 5 and...well...I don't really like it. I'm not sure why, I find it less repetitive than Splash Star, but sooo boring. Kawarino, Masuko, Karen and Milk are the only good points so far. Shitty backgrounds, animation, boring ost... even the voice acting sucks. The transformation sequence is lame and the Pinkies were a mistake *sighs*
Yes5 was the first team-based season, so most of the focus (and enjoyment) is on the team dynamics, it's not as plot-focused like Fresh, but the relationship between the Cures is a bit more detailed than most seasons.
You don't like the romance?
That's a yike from me
>the Pinkies were a mistake
The Pinkies are a total mistake.
> Kawarino, Masuko, Karen and Milk are the only good points so far.
They're great, huh?
I really don't think I'd say they're the only good parts, and I don't think it's boring overall, but if you're looking for a strong plot... it's not really there. It does have its roughness in parts, too, but I've found the season pretty funny and Nozomi is a joy.
>Shitty backgrounds
they're not THAT bad
at the absolute least they're not even remotely Fresh tier (some shots are kinda really bad, but still nowhere as bad as anything in Fresh)
nor is the animation that bad (again, see Fresh, but that's not fair because Fresh is a contender for the ugliest anime of its year and is easily the ugliest season of Precure -- and I fucking love Fresh)
the only song I care about in the Y5 OST is the first ED, which is wonderful
The voices are comically bad. It sounds like the VA is choking in falsetto. I can't think of any fairies in the series anywhere close to as awkward sounding as Coco or Nuts.
I watch KR in the afternoon sometimes and an episode of Precure every night.
Uuuh...
I finished watching all the Showa Precure series. Was thinking of skipping Heisei and going straight to Reiwa.
I didn't think Yes 5 was boring but I don't rate it all that high either. Karen, Komachi, Milk, and Urara were my favorites from that season and Nozomi was ok.
Let's play a game /pc/. What situation do you think led to this image happening?
She asked if she would suplex her.
Nothing. It's an impossible situation.
Precure wasn't around in the Showa period user. At least shitpost correctly. - a /m/an
Yayoi forgot her homework at home. On a side note I want Reika to do this to me for no reason
You're no fun. Obviously none of the Smiles would hurt each other, it's just a joke. Carry on I suppose.
Just watched the Heartcatch movie yesterday. It was pretty good.
