DP's are far worse. They aren't perfect, but they are good enough for an adaptation and since they're almost always drawn on-model, it makes for a good viewing experience coupled with the good directing and use of colors/ camera angles.

The fights that are animated are very well paced, except for the ending of the Vanilla Ice fight. If you are talking about the lack of fights then I can't disagree, you're right about that.

This is true, but the other episodes are also well directed, especially the N'Doul fight which is in my opinion very underrated.

I agree the manga is better. However, as a fanservice animation project, I think they did a great job. It's not a good entry point or adaptation however, since you can't understand shit without prior context.
