Will there ever be a season 4?
Sayonara Zetsubou Sensei
I don't understand.
I think this was based off of a video game or something
No but we need better Translations for the manga first. Kodansha keeps slacking.
It flopped?
If selling less than Bakemonogatari is flopping.
What even is that?
Wtf was that ending?
>Blood
>Organ
How much of the personalities of the girls were composed of the showa ghosts that possessed them?
no. target audience is too small.
most of the classics wouldn´t gain any traction if released today.
unless they make dramatical changes to make it more moe, ecchi, edgy and lighten up the humor.
It is way too "old otaku" the way it is.
>moe, ecchi, edgy
It had all of those.
thats why i said it needs more, not add it
compared to Lucky Star or Nichijo, wich use a similar kind of humor, the moeness is way lower for todays standards and the jokes are not nearly as lighthearted.
It falls short in any category if compared to anime of similar genres of the last 10 years.
Way too unique to make a profit.
It is a niche anime, always was. But back then everyone who was into anime was kinda niche themselves, so it worked out fine.
Reminder that this page confirms that Sensei regularly bones Kudou. I wonder if he at least gets a reach-around.
Difficult to say. It wasn't exactly "possession". The girls were willfully channeling them, and the reason they were picked for that purpose was because they were similar to begin with. For example Kiri was a hikki and tried to kill herself before ever being chosen to channel the showa ghost.
I personally don't think they actually took on any of the personalities, as much as they just made a conscious effort to act like them in order to appease them. After all, none of the girls seemed to change their personalities much after it was all over. But it's all very vague so there's really no answer.
There's also stories from their childhood where they had their crazy personalities already, like Chiri being a clean freak and Nami being normal.
True, although it's possible that they were just acting and those are not real childhood stories. Do we even know for sure that Fujiyoshi and Chiri were really childhood friends and not just pretending? One thing we do know is that the girls are not even all the same age.
Chiri's sister would have to be in on it too. There's no reason to doubt their backstories, honestly. Just one more needless layer of conspiracy that doesn't add to anything.
Unfortunately I doubt it.
ZETSUBOUSHITA
What about Usui Kagerou? Does he bone him too?
Who?
Usui didn't haver any Kafka in him, so no.
I used to like this show because I could relate to being a teacher and wanting to kill myself.
It's harder for me to enjoy it now that only one of those is still true.
How the fuck is Sensei relatable as a teacher? He never actually teaches them anything.
>He never actually teaches them anything
So most teachers
He teaches them about life. Something real schools never prepare you for.
Of course, they are just waiting for the last Eva movie to come out to make a reference to it.
