Why did this never get an anime adaptation?

Doesn't need one.

Anime adaptations are primarily a way to sell light novels or get people hooked on an ongoing series.

Anime is truly the inferior medium

Why didn't Spirit Circle get an adaptation is an even better question. For fuck's sake, it would cost a penny and probably boost manga sales a bit too.

this mostly

but also it was published in the wrong magazine

Sengoku youko was better

this desu

I don't think Kawakami has had a single bad manga published, he's consistently good.

I don't know, it has all the right ingredients to be a popular anime
>heavy shounen themes
>Edgy MC that becomes less of a dick
>feels
Granted I ask them same question regarding why they decided to give Magical Girl Site an anime and not Apocalypse, even though Apocalypse style survival animes typically do well.

I'm hesitant to call the MC Edgy, he wasn't edgy, he was just a bad person who grew into a decent person.

Why did Madhouse make an anime of Parasyte decades after the manga ended?

>no flashy battle
>no fan service
>no fujobait
It will flop as an anime for sure. And what do you mean by shounen themes? It's a seinen.

Because Parasyte is a renowned classic written by one of the most celebrated mangaka. Same thing for Dodoro by Tezuka Osama. Series like that sometimes are the exceptions to the rule.

Anything with fighting I just rope into the shounen category honestly. Which it has, hell one battle has feels and action. I almost shed a tear when glasses-chan dropped the stone face and went apeshit on the monster that killed mouse-kun

They were afraid Lucasfilms would sue them for ripping off a scene from the empire strikes back.

It wasn't good

Because its trash

Parasyte got a ongoing sequel. So the rule stays the same.

>>no fujobait
Please, fujos would be all over Yuuhi/Shinonome
Both of the Shinonomes

Passion projects or legacy shit manages to slip through every now

>Kawakami

Because they were promoting the live action movie made at that same time.

Because despite how vocal the fanboys here are, they're still a minority and the manga really isn't that great all things considered.

Yuuhi was a trenchcoat away from shooting up his college at the beginning

Anyone have that joke anime release schedule from years ago that had Biscuit Hammer and a lot of other series that weren't expected to get an anime?

If it's how I remember it, I wouldn't be surprised if it's the only one on that list that never got animated

Spirit Circle > Sengoku Youko > Biscuit Hammer = Instant Bullet

You know I'm right

BH's I love you I know >IB's I love you I know

>fpbp
what does this mean?

Biscuit Hammer has all of these though.

The author was a primadonna, Trigger ended up making Panty and Stockings instead.
