It got two seasons at least. Also it was the golden era of Shaft so I guess it was harder to notice.

It glorified being a homeless nut

Lemon hair is cute.

Lack of taste m8. There is almost no man of culture on this board.
It was popular on his time, it just didn't aged well

or
Sakasama Bridge?

I hated nino's design the whole time and never really got that into it because she was so prominently featured, but the rest of the first season I enjoyed thoroughly. Is it worth watching the second season?

Sakasama Bridge by far, Akai coat still good tho, both op and ed were awesome.

Just marathoned the first episode, it was fine, I think that what I liked the most was the voice acting of the MC, but that's it.

it's shit

I think Shaft didn't get the tone of manga right and fucked up by not animating some story bits.

Just remebered I had a dream about this last night
It was about the butler guy who was gay for MC. Butler? Guess he was more of a secretary I think? Anyway I dont remember the details of the dream just that he was in it.
I know that sounds gay but it wasnt a gay dream I swear

Well it gave birth to a glorious man of culture meme.

How do you marathon a single episode?

By not doing any pauses and not looking at the phone for a whole 20 minutes. I know it seems impossible but I heard some people can do it, never seen it myself though.

>Is it worth watching the second season?
not really. if you enjoyed the wackyness go for it, it totally delivers in that regard, but it is a rather pointless season compared to the first which tried to have a bit of heart on top of being a funny gag show

It was one of the most popular shows of 2010, dude. Do you think House of Five Leaves and Bakuman are unpopular too because people don't talk about them much a decade later?

Watch it for the Nino, stayed for the P-Ko.

I absolutely hated simp star, he ruined it for me. I couldn't even force myself to watch second season.

>the mangaka married Kamiya and had a child all this time
Probably the biggest surprise.

It's the mother of the greatest meme that came from Zig Forums.

oh shit there's a movie? is it any good?
the show reminded me of one of my favorite movies so I should probably check it out

How did the manga end? Was it the same as the anime?

The manga was at some point among the top 50 selling manga (Saint Onii-san from the same author was even higher), but the Anime sold about as same as the average comedy. I guess most comedy anime sell pretty badly because elevens could just record it from TV and they don't the same kind of dedication as moefags to buy everything no matter the price.

The most impressive thing about the anime was its cast; so many huge veterans and super popular modern seiyuu appearing basically every episode and everyone (even Omigawa) fit their roles perfectly. Even after becoming a seiyuufag, it's very easy to accept the characters as themselves.

>Disliking based hoshi
This board really has gone to shit

>so many huge veterans and super popular modern seiyuu appearing basically every episode
It probably wasn't cheap to make, though. Wish there was a season 3, Arakawa is amazing.

Holy shit, I thought for the longest time that was from Hyouge Mono.

The cast was fucking ridiculous. I still don't understand how they could afford all those big names.
