>actually drowned tokyo to save his waifu
fucking BASED madlad
I was scared I was going to get some shitty "for the greater good" ending but this guy didn't give a fuck about any of that
Actually drowned tokyo to save his waifu
He reminds me of another character who is going to rumble the world to save his waifu... what was his name bros?
Nooooooo you can’t just slaughter a hundred thousand babies to save your loved ones noooooo muh greater good
I actually liked this ending. Because let's be honest, if I had to choose between saving my waifu or saving a bunch of random people I don't know then no shit I'd save my waifu. It's a very human thing to do and I'm glad the movie didn't end with some big moralfag "muh greater good" Batman tier ending.
Batman would drown Gotham too
It instantly made the movie a 9/10 for me. I really thought the whole time it was gonna go the moralfag way so when he actually saved her and it showed Tokyo underwater, I was happily surprised
>the virgin Simon
>refuses to save his waifu Nia because muh morals and muh next generation
>the CHAD Hodaka
>lol fuck Tokyo I'm bringing my waifu back
I agree but the rest of it was still shit. How many fifteen year old "runaways" does japan have anyway?
The ending act was what made the movie to me. I don't think I've ever seen an anime have a conflict like this that didn't end in something self-sacrificial. Well I probably have but it's buried by all the cases of the opposite happening
2 apparently
I believe HIS NAME IS
EREN JAEGER
>trying to use realism
Bonus since we get confirmation that the two characters from Your Name are alive and got married.
I would drown a city for my waifu desu.
This is so much bullshit after how he fixed Your Name ending.
he's clearly fucking with his fanbase
extremely retarded but the police shit was easily the worst part, especially the dumb confrontation right before he enters the gate.
The setting is "realistic", so it ruins the immersion completely. They are only runaways because a conflict with the police was needed in the rest of the film.
He's clearly trolling.
He has a habit of saying retarded and conflicting shit about his own movies every new interview. The movie was marketed as a romance movie and presents itself as one.
Why does that matter again? Seriously asking I dont remember any point in the movie where the amount of runaway teens in tokyo would matter
Remember he J.K Rowling'd the movie in twitter. Watch as your movie will be remembered as shit in the years to come Shinkaifaggots
lol ok Shinkai all the love talk and ring meant nothing. They're breeding like rabbits under the rain as we speak
Yeah Shinkai totally not romantic
it's cheap drama that feels really out of place. It annoyed me while watching, that's all.
>Remember he J.K Rowling'd the movie in twitter
Elaborate.
We didn't though
Don’t compare Eren to this shitty asshole.
>The setting is "realistic", so it ruins the immersion completely.
That’s pretty dumb.
>architect marrying a poorfag saleswoman
wow what a Cinderella story
That's doesn't make any sense at all but whatever.
Joel
>just two months earlier in another interview
>Q: Do you see it as a love story in some ways?
>MAKOTO SHINKAI: I see it as a boy meets girl love story and a lot of the young audience in Japan have taken it that way
He truly is the JK Rowling of Japan.
