Why did talented hackers that had the ability to hack in to pormenent twitter account. Waste this oppertunity on runscape lvl scam. They could have just hijacked Elons account make a heavy bet on tsla put and right when the market open twit some think about tsla being to expensive. The hackers would have made shit ton more then this petty scam. Whats your take on this?

Thought the same, they could have done anything from starting ww3 to crashing some asset and buying at zero cost, to anything in between. Smells extremely fishy to me. The guy who pulled this off had power that has no price tag, and we are to believe he just wanted to pull a nigerian prince. No fucking way. There is something else to it. Several possibilities tho.

I reckon some figured it out unintentionally and instead of investing $10k in shorting stocks and trying to manipulate it via a Twitter hack, they decided to pull the good ol' tried and tested double your bitcoin scam, which really requires no capital to profit off of at all.
