I agree. The romantic drama and light-hearted comedy were perfectly balanced against each other. I think the time between Oono's departure and return should have been a little longer episode-wise, as to give Haruo and Hidaka's friendship some more weight, and Oono's return of greater impact.

It's not that simple. If Akira would wanted to rebel she would've done so long ago like Makoto. She wants to honor the wish of her parents and do good for her family. Haruo himself recognized that and also admires that responsible part of her. They only getting together if they get the Onno's blessing which desu looks difficult to get.

Rude. She made mistakes (mostly daydreaming about her emotions instead of actually acknowledging the reality in front of her) but Koharu is ultimately a good girl. I hope she finds her spark again while rescuing her delinquent students.
