TG HAS good art. That right there is not good art.

Not OP but I'd say that pic's quite good. I imagine it must look a lot better in the actual book, where it hasn't been raped by filters though.

Sun Ken Rock triggered me

Makoto Shinkai's Anime.

One Piece

BHA.
Black Bullet.
Ballroom e yokoso.
Witch hat atelier.

That panel's got a lot of cool details, like the hidden writing in it. I don't think the official english translation even noticed it.

Some of Ito's works are pretty nice, Gyo isn't one of them.

To this day I still don't know how I managed to make it as far as I did through Sun Ken Rock. What a fucking shitshow that turned into.

I found gyo enjoyable because it was a wild ride, but the story was a mess.
Ito's works are great, excellent buildup, but almost always the endings are so weird everything falls flat.

>the hidden writing
I'm trying to make it out, what is it? I think I see "火山," and another that the best I can guess is "演," but that one's probably wrong.

I don't know Japanese, so I couldn't tell you. I do know that it's there though, and that one of the scanlators did translate it. I don't remember what it says though unfortunately.

The oneshot where they rip that girl's skin off at the end was kino

Honestly chainsaw man is fucking beatiful you wish you could draw like that wtf are you talking even about

This

It's inconsistent as fuck, but it has it's moments

Literally the opposite imo, the art is inconsistent as fuck usually being subpar with some great moments in between. Meanwhile the plot is usually the strongest component

I enjoy Ito's work story for their pure weirdness, it's great. You never know what will happen.

>great, excellent buildup, but almost always
I just couldn't enjoy Gyo, can't quite put my finger on the exact reason tho. I tend to like Ito's one shots more than his longer stories such as Uzumaki and Gyo.

This, both for the story and art.

it's intentional
