Just finished Golden Boy, was pretty great was the anime film they made at the end suppossed to be shit and only got accepted because Kintaros friends clapped for it or was it actually good?
I think the former would work better with the stories themes, but im not sure if its the case

Not at the beginning, but definitely by the end of the second arc. Her whole character arc is basically her transforming from a virgin into a Chad. (though I'm pretty sure she's technically still a virgin as well, just not in the metaphorical/ meme sense)

It was good. Only the crew (the head producer guy and the animator girl) had any negative reaction to it since it's their profession and they notice flaws the general audience wouldn't. The girl is later seen working late to clean up what they saw during the screener. It's a bit of a meta comment on artists being hard on themselves, since the final episode is the studio's own story and not an adaptation. Great series adaptation overall too, a lot better than the source material which is legitimately bad in my opinion.
