Is this one of the best adaptations ever made?

yes

>Animation perfectly captures the carefree yet melancholy feel of the manga along with also being one of the only good CGI animated shows made so far
>Season 1 leaves on a good note, displaying the entire season being one huge analogy of how drastically people change as they get older and learn more about the world around them
It's an anime I would recommend to someone at least. Best way I can describe how I feel about it without Zig Forums getting mad about tastes or whatever.

It's not any better than most adaptations imo. It's certainly good but I don't know why people think it's a masterpiece or anything.

easily
they did so much right

tfw no season 2, just furry shit

why does Zig Forums suddenly went from demonizing furfaggotry to loving it 10 years later? i don't understand

Just be patient bro!

Since it cuts and moves around content purely because of the episode length restrictions, then no.

No.

Because Nips started animating them instead of mentally ill Amerifats.

this adaptation is great because nigger rocks don't appear. only the best ones

It really is

I love the anime, and because of it I read and love the manga, and for that reason I do not want the manga to be adapted into anime, because it would be too sad.

Definitely.

Bortz is the second most niggerrock next to Candycorn though.

Why do people call this Buddhism: the anime?

because its buddhism: the anime

Embrace the sadness, for to feel is know you are alive

Your standards must be pretty low then.

Is it just to do with the aesthetics of the lunarians?

ne
muri

I take back what I said, nigger rocks should not be tolerated and this adaptation is shit

no

There's more stuff later in the series than what's been covered in the anime. Lots of tie ins with Buddhist concepts and there are people making theories based on Buddhist ideas.

Several plot elements are deliberately referencing buddhism, such as the designs of the Lunarians, Sensei and Shiro. Further plot details in the manga like Phos' new parts that reference the seven treasures and her suffering add onto the Buddhist themes etc. - though I've heard that the author is actually highly critical of Buddhism, to what extent that has reflected in how she's written the Buddhist elements of the story I have no idea.

I see, thanks. Interesting to hear that the mangaka is critical of Buddhism.

Yes. Also presumably the best CG usage.

Imagine being Japanese and having no exposure to western religions. Would you be able to tell what is atheist comedy from religious fap material? That's my take of the Buddhist symbolism, careful with interpretation.

I've honestly stopped caring about the furfags many years ago.

No, it's one of the worst. It's generic 3dcg garbage with off model characters. Doesn't do justice to the Manga's amazing art.

>3dpd
>anime
HAHA HA

That's some pretty bad QUALITY. Absolutely retarded visual clashing.
